Spoke with my sister who lives in western Michigan yesterday, told her to be careful. This is completely fucked:

I think there is something to the consent piece for why predictive programming is done. Definitely lines up with Satanic practices, although in all other respects, completely false.

I saw tree branches moving in the video. Also, the train look blurry to me, or odd, not the trees. Doesn't seem to be uncommon though:

It's a fake video. If you don't believe me it ain't keeping me up at night. It's 100% fake. Let me know when you've edited 1,000's of hours of video for marketing purposes. You and rich can soak up the lies. I'm not wrong.

I'm worried about clothing, electronics, computer chips, paint, building materials..

Whatever. The country falls apart and pepole just deny it, and I don't want to argue it.

Why are you worried about any of that? That's what I was talking about with cheap Chinese toys. The true valuable stuff is made outside of China in multiple countries or here. The chips they make are for a fucking karaoke machines. Heaven forbid we don't have those? China is dying. Most clothing isn't made in China. Guess what, everyone has what they need to be clothed currently. My buddy makes textile materials and NONE of it comes from China.

Building materials are mostly from America. No different than Germany firing up coal power plants for energy during this war. It will cost money but we can build/manufacture anything here with current facilities. Somehow China can build a fake hospital in 10 days during covid but we're helpless to create a mundane product like sheetrock? If you trust China more than the USA, I'm sorry, you're 100% wrong. We have more assets and resources than the entire world. China can go away tomorrow and it's a 6 month hiccup. It's why we don't have to worry about the debt. No one can collect. We could dump China for Vietnam or Indonesia over night and "maybe" have a 6-12 month rough patch.

I'm not an America is best person, but we have the demographics. We have the finances. We have the military. It's just the reality. We don't need China. I don't care who lies. I like having the best liar in all honesty and know it.

Those railroad videos are fake and/or NOT in the USA. Let me drive your Lamborghini on a gravel road. Except a train engine is 10x's more expensive. I'm surprised how easily people are fooled.

Did I say the video was definitely legit? Did you look at the tracks in the site I linked to? I believe I demonstrated by linking to an independent site that the track conditions are legitimate, regardless of what we think of the video. Further, the image I linked to is from Ohio.

What does a video I'm not even talking about have to do with anything? The video you linked, were you there when it was filmed? Did you witness it? You know the exact location? I could film something in Arizona or Afghanistan and you'd have no clue which is which.

Media manipulation has been around forever. With modern video tech it's rampant. If rails in the video you linked were real it would have been posted a long time ago if there was honest journalism. There's not. Only when a train derails with toxic chemicals. How convenient.

Truckers have a massive lobby. You don't think after an accident like this they'd send out propaganda? Factor in pipeline companies. There are plenty of people, literally millions that want to bash rail transportation. No one gets the game until they've played it so it's not your fault, but just think about it. You take advantage of a crisis.

I've seen that video on some Russian language website. If I recall correctly, it is from former Soviet Union.

There was a video when you click through the link. I made no assumptions. You did assuming it was Ohio or in the US. You cannot verify that. Neither can I. The original video Patrick posted is 100% fake, without a doubt.

Another user posted the same video/link you did. I give no shits about that video. That was never the discussion and again you or I have no clue where it was filmed. Nothing corroborates where the other video was. THE video in discussion is fake, the one Patrick posted. What is so complicated about this?

I stand corrected. I never watched the video, don't particularly trust youtube, unless it's for entertainment purposes. I was referring to the photo at the top of the page. My point is we have a video, which does look strange, but the tracks in that video look the same as the image in this other website, and both reference Ohio. Could someone be running around making stuff up about Ohio railroad tracks? Sure, but what's in it for them?

I can see very direct incentives for the government and the railorad company to lie about things. I don't see any incentive to create youtube videos, then make posts on train hobbyist sites correlating those videos. Simplest explanation, Ohio has fucked up tracks. But regardless, the highly unlikely circumstances surrounding Ohio, and ESPECIALLY the media blackout scream coverup, and strongly suggest an intentional pollution of the state.

Click bait ad revenue off of a disaster. You're not required to tell the truth on the internet. Honestly it's smart. A train derails let's make it look like everything is shit and find the worst footage possible. Get a million views and $5-10k or whatever as a you tuber (I admittedly don't know the monetization structure). Spend 2 hours compiling videos, post it to YouTube, and sit back and collect cash.

The other video tends to look real. But there's just zero evidence I saw that it was Ohio. We have to remember that industry has their own rail lines that aren't under any federal/local jurisdiction to be maintained. There are companies that get 4 rail cars a year on private property.

Norfolk, CN, BNSF, etc. all have well maintained tracks. It's a requirement. The issue in the East Palestine case was a worn out wheel bearing supposedly. They're not hauling millions in cargo and dangerous chemicals on shit tracks. That's my point. Someone failed at the rail yard maintaining the equipment. Multi billion corps aren't going to ship on tracks that look like anything in the video.
194   NuttBoxer   2023 Feb 23, 9:16am

But there were no adds in the video. I know the page I linked to specifically mentions the type of track it is, not a mainline commercial one for sure. Isn't that also in the weird looking video? This seems more a case of conditions are bad not this is why that train de-railed.
195   NuttBoxer   2023 Feb 23, 9:19am

Apparently a video circulating showing EPA officials drinking tap water in East Palestine. Just wondering why they didn't test it and show that instead? Also, did they drink from a house using well or river water? In small towns, well tends to dominate, and I'm not sure how long it will take for that to get polluted.
196   NuttBoxer   2023 Feb 23, 9:23am

Also, some environmental testers where headed to Ohio(Bedford, NOT East Palestine), and died in a plan crash at, wait for it.. Clinton airport! Apparently tried to take off in high winds in a very small plane. So while they were on their way to investigate a metal factory fire in another town, would they have found pollution from the train wreck as well? Seems odd that the pilot would attempt to take off in bad conditions.

Saw that.

They barely wet their lips. Didn't drink half of the half of a glass they were served.

More propaganda. The impact of years of bathing, washing, drinking is what counts. And they know that - and they looked obviously uncomfortable drinking the tap water.

Agree, they need to monitor and test the soil in that area for at least the next few years as far as groundwater seepage and science.

Also test the water from wells for the next few years.

I would also start testing urine and blood from those who drink from those wells in East Palestine and continue that testing every 6 months for the next five to ten years.

You don't need ads to make money on it.

Why it derailed via wheel bearing is kind of a moot point to the discussion. Videos are coming out to make it look like our rail infrastructure is shit. It's not. Too much doxxing, but I live 3 blocks from a BNSF line in rural IL. They absolutely maintain the fuck out of the tracks, exactly because of events like this. A load you profited maybe 10-15% on now turned into $100M problems and a headache.

Maybe Ohio was lazy. Our tracks here are meticulous. They look NOTHING like what is in those videos, fake or real. We're talking IL here too. The bastion of quality and safety... lol. The videos are shit. They're taking the worst case and making it seem like that's the norm. I have zero interest in rail. I just know infrastructure and I know that's not our railways. It's propaganda.

NTSB’s preliminary report released Thursday showed that the engineer at the controls of the Norfolk Southern train that derailed in Ohio tried to stop the train following a warning about an overheating wheel, but by that time several cars had already come off the tracks.

According to the report, before it derailed, the train passed three detectors intended to alert train crew to physical problems, including overheating wheels. Though the train detectors showed one of the wheels was steadily getting hotter, it did not reach a temperature Norfolk Southern considered critical until it passed the third detector and alerted, as outlined by the National Transportation Safety Board.

When the train passed that last detector, the detector “transmitted a critical audible alarm message instructing the crew to slow and stop the train to inspect a hot axle,” the report said.

By then, the engineer was already trying to slow the train because it was behind another train. Upon hearing the alarm, the engineer increased the application of the brakes, and then automatic emergency brakes initiated, bringing the train to a stop.

When it stopped, the crew “observed fire and smoke and notified the Cleveland East dispatcher of a possible derailment,” the report said.

I don't do social media, so no idea, but whenever I watch youtube for entertainment, those guys always have commercials now days. Can you break down how much they generate with these fake videos, and why this particular scenario is more profitable than the shit people always watch like cats, babies, etc? I mean this story is largely ignored by mainstream news, so they have to be targeting a pretty niche audience. You see how convoluted this starts to get, versus Ohio has some fucked up railways? It just seems like you're really having to stretch for this.

Chemical spills, plastic fires, food processing plants burning down. Illegals flooding in, inflation, attempts to push us to inferior energy. No gas, not enough electricity, no parts for jobs, no products for stores, no food for shelves. If I didn't know better, I'd say someone was trying to push us to 3rd world living status. And from that perspective these events, videos, and pictures aren't neglect, the conditions are intentional.

Yep, there was an early attempt to shift blame to Trump(again). Despite the fact that his regulation easing was completely unrelated to what caused this derailment. Not saying Trump doesn't have things to be blamed for, just that this isn't one of them.

It wasn't regulations that caused the disaster in Palestine Ohio.

It was Norfolk Southern that caused the disaster in Palestine Ohio.

A company can cut corners if they want, everything has a cost / benefit analysis to it, even a human life. A car could be made that would 100% guarantee the safety of the passengers in any head on crash up to 100 miles and hour, but it would cost 10 million dollars and get 1 mile to the gallon.

Norfolk Southern thought they could save money, that's fine but it resulted in this disaster, and THEY are financially responsible. Now if the government gives them a pass, THAT'S where the corruption lies.

You don't need regulations when you have liability. There is liability here, it's just a question of whether the government will enforce it or not.

I think all this represents are all the black women at Norfolk Southern. Looking at their job descriptions, I don't think any of them shoulders the blame. The highest ranking of them is Ayesha Gross, Chief of Staff to the CEO. I think this is unfair.

Time will tell because Biden just signed some kind of EO that requires every government agency to create an equity office/division (or whatever). South Africa did the same thing years ago and they are having massive infrastructure problems (as I understand it).

They also need to be monitoring groundwater for at least the next 5 years.

Pfft, I think that's a major underestimation. It's a number that's high enough that people will take notice, but not so high that it would be alarming. I'm sure the real number is alarming.

But who knows, however, I am familiar with how the government downplays anything that can be associated with one of their gross errors.
215   GreaterNYCDude   2023 Feb 24, 5:22pm

There are multiple pathways for the contamination to diffuse into the environment. Looking at the broad pathways, Air Soil and Water.

Anything in the air (including what they burned) will dissipate quickest but it depends on windspeed, direction, altitude, etc. There are tools to do air dispersion modeling, in fact they are often used by air permitng boards when reviewing permit applications for industrial facilities.

Anything that seeps into the soils SHOULD be fairly contained. Although there was the potential for large volume of liquids to be dispersed (Given the amount of volume a railcar can hold, generally 35,000 Gallo s or less) The radius if impact should be small and it will take time for the contaminants to diffuse into the soil. Spill berms, etc. If properly deployed, can help minimize the impact. There will still be local contamination that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later, but it's not like this is an old industrial facility where for decades chemicals were split with little regard for the impact. Depending on the soil properties it will take time for the contamination to migrate down to the water table. Local wells will need to be monitored routinely, but if they get after this quick enough the damage can be mimizes. As with most things, speed helps.

That brings us to the dead fish. My guess is it was surface contamination. A heavy rain would wash the chemicals downstream (espeicaly if the perimiter wasnt secured with spill berms, etc. quick enough) and into the local warerhshed. They will dilute as the flow downstream, but it dosen't take much to have an adverse impact, as we've seen.

I cant imagine that somone (the RR, the town, the EPA) didn't have an emergency action plan on file. The seeming lack of foresight combined with the haphazard response (Sorry, bad pun) is sad indeed.

In a 1st world country we should, and can, do better.
