Did someone post that video here? Sox game in Boston, no one waiting in line at the Bud Light stands. If even the big cities aren't woke enough, they're fucked.
I'm not a fan of sweet dark beer
All I'm saying is there are more variables to this than the advertising campaign. Time of year. Decline is sports attendance. And frankly cost. Sales will go down when you charge $4-5 for a Bud Light at the corner bar. And $9-12 at a sporting event. If you drink 1-2 going out and cut it down to 1 that's a 50% decline. The economy isn't going crazy right now. Prices are high. Cutting back on beer is an easy way to save money and isn't necessary. Lots of factors.

Except that the sales of competitor's beer have gone way up. This is not an example of beer sales falling off in general.
Yet to see proof of that.

Have you looked for it? I haven't, but still I saw it. I guess that's because I use real news sites...
What have you seen? Everything in this thread is just meme type bull shit. No one has actual financials from Bud. Yes, they fired everyone involved basically which I'd agree with. All I'm saying is the doom and gloom is more about stock price and not reality. Yes, Q2 they'll make less money. We can talk when the summer numbers come in for Q3.
The fact is this is message board/forum fodder. Your average American doesn't even know what happened. They're busy drinking and doing drugs. You think 50% of Americans read or watch anything news related? MSM didn't even report on it. People that didn't drink Bud Light are boycotting something they don't drink. That's literally what this is.
Trannies are mentally disabled people and don't belong on anything. But it's not going to be the downfall of Bud Light. I'm not defending anything, but long term most people "thinking" their boycott did something will be proven wrong.
It seems the effects are quite pronounced, and there will be revenue shortfall beyond seasonal. However I agree with the sentiment that it may not be its demise, I remember when people were saying this about Nike stock when they turned ultra woke and dipped, and then it made new highs later.
Yet to see proof of that. I don't like Bud Light or Budweiser. I'm neutral in this. I don't care. I just don't think people saying they boycotted something made a difference. The advertising was a dumb ass move. There is a supposed shock to the system that none of us can verify is true.
Gilette was not forgotten; they never recovered market share or the price premium they used to demand. Then competitors swooped in an Schtick made their blades interchangable with the Gilette Mach 3s people already had.
Balenciaga is for the snooty kazooty crowd who is mostly woke anyway.
I have a suggestion - just stop buying from nationwide brands. They're all going to do this shit.

Abandon no battlefield, allow no default victory. Make them at least have to punch in the clock. Sure, cultivate local, but never give them a no show victory.

I think Balenciaga has been forgotten, and Gillette.
Why would Bud have financials on other companies profits? Do you remember that's what you specifically called out as unproven?
No one was fired.
For everyone here, regardless of what I think, I've never called anyone's personal story from their life a lie. You all know I won't agree with you, but that's a line I won't cross.
I know we don't have many standards here, we're patnet for fucks sake, but I think we need to draw the line at calling people's lives a lie.
Congrats. You can type Spanish. That means nothing. Mexicans don't drink Bud Light. They don't want to. My point is flying over your head. There's maybe a 5% chance the person, if hispanic, bought Bud Light. Another unicorn in our midst. Or maybe it's a California thing. Between NYC and CA that's ground zero for chopping your dick off, so may they do like Bud Light out there.
his big can was what he could honestly afford,
Saw a Central American all of 5'4" buying Bud Light at Circle K about 4PM in the afternoon, guy looked like he just got off work, everybody was ribbing him (including other Hispanics) but knew his big can was what he could honestly afford, he was smiling and holding his hands palm upward in a "What can ya do?" position. This was about a week ago, in Florida, obviously.
Now that Miller is getting trashed you're down to Coors which is the worst of the 3 in my opinion.
Not doubting it, but for a rural area and the closer suburban city, we have a high(ish) hispanic population, about 15-20%. Obviously a lot of landscapers. Wasn't actively looking until now, but I still don't recall ever seeing a hispanic person buying Bud Light by can or case and I do a lot of gas station stops. Definitely don't see it at bars or restaurants. And hispanics I personally know would never drink Bud Light. Decent sample size.
Bud Light Backlash Shows No Sign Of Letting Up, And Now There Is Contagion To Budweiser, Busch And Michelob
It will probably not come as a surprise to anyone - except some woke millennial Harvard MBA grad - but Bud Light volume and sales declines have worsened, according to the latest industry point-of-sales data, suggesting the tranny-influencer backlash is showing no signs of letting up.
As Bloomberg's Janet Freund notes, the most recent third-party point-of-sales data from both Circana (formerly IRI) and Nielsen show that declines in Bud Light dollar share, volume share and sales have continued to worsen.

I suggest Becks or St Paulie Girl, as both of those are under $12 a 12 pack these days. Where has Butwiper has been pushing the boundaries to how much they could charge for their Cultural Grog. I wouldn't mind seeing Shiner Boc become a huge national brand with a wider distribution than it currently has. Though when I do find it at the Publix here in South Florida, it's around $10.99 or more, for a 6pack. Even Guiness is a dollar cheaper than that on average.
I heard some chime in telling everyone to support their local craft beer brewers. I have never EVER had one single beer from a craft brewer that tasted anything like a old traditional beer recipe. And that's very important to me. I don't want off tastes, and hints of herbs, berries, citrus, or your Xer's vag yeast. Whart ever the fuck they put in there!
The problem I have with local craft beers, they have no respect for the traditional tried and true methods, and just brew a proper Lager, Pilsner, Ale, or Stout. They always have some untraditional ingredients in there, that makes it taste like crap, while they give a cute flavor name, which taste nothing like they suggest. Plus you can factor a good 40% of the cost of their beer goes into their packaging and marketing efforts. They claim they are craft beers, but they are trying like hell to be a major distributor at the expense of not focusing on a product worthy of such hullabaloo. And if I'm at a one more party and there's nothing left in the beer cooler but 9 seltzer fizzy beer, or sour IPAs in the cooler. I'm going loose my mind. Who brings these nasty beers, then proceeds to drink the hosts honest real beers? Nobody likes your soda beer, and IPA leave that crap at home. Who ever is doing that!
