Russian President Vladimir Putin acknowledged in late June that the Kremlin had paid Prigozhin’s army, many recruited from the country’s prisons, nearly $1 billion dollars between May of 2022 and May of 2023. I have reported in previous columns that the rebellion Prigozhin launched in June was far from the threat to Putin's standing that the Western media consistently reported it to be. You "seem" to be right. Not claiming you're wrong at all, but who the hell really knows. I know with flights for FAA there's a passenger manifest or whatever, but not sure how that works in Russia. He could have just been disappeared and not really dead. Nearly impossible for any normal American or even journalist that specializes in Russian news that could find out. Not that I would trust that info either.

I've missed flights before. My understanding is that my name is still linked to that flight potentially since I checked in. Maybe it's modernized enough now where when the ticket is scanned at the gate those are the passengers listed. Prigozhin's flight was private, so it could just be made up I guess is the point. He's clearly gotten a lot of money. It's not hard to make him go away without actually killing him. Hell he could have wanted to do it himself to disappear for other reasons we'll never know. I'd say you were correct though overall. Just hard to prove.

It was a private jet, not some regular commercial flight. And neither ICAO, nor Embraier are allowed to participate in the investigation. So yeah, all markings of a CIA operation are there.
