5000 / day is in the bill. Not a few years ago, some pol, I forget who but it wasn't Trump - said 1000 was ludicrous. 1000 wouldn't be enough to trigger it.

Mandatory work permits for H1B visa family members in the bill.

Of $120B in the Senate Bill, $75B for Foreign Aid ($60B for Ukraine) and most of the rest is going to 'FBI Laboratories' and other nonsense. Nothing to do with immigration directly; but what little there is - less than a fifth of a $120B bill - most is going to 'refugee care' and 'processing' for migrants - NOT enforcement, walls, or deportation.

Here's the worst part:



The Uniparty knows EXACTLY what they're doing. It's not tone deaf or incompetence. Remember, for weeks "Don't criticize and wait to see the bill". Almost every shitty claim is in there and more

Why pick Lankford?

He's 1 year into a 6 year term, so the populace is hoped to have 5 years to forget about it.

It's also an initiation rite - by tarnishing him now, whether it succeeds or fails they can say "Oh Lankford, our friends can bring up that immigration bill during election time" - to gain permanent dependence from him on the big dogs like McConnell.

This bill is actually designed to prevent Trump from closing the border on Day One.

There has to be 7 days of consecutive 5000 illegals for the border shutdown to trigger.

~$2.3B Billion with a "B" to fund Caritas, Jesuit Refugee Service, Red Cross, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, Hebrew Immigrant Aid, etc. to facilitate migrants. Sometimes I wonder if "Faith Based Initatives" of Bush was a long game designed to allow these transfers .
