Yes. I honestly don't like to moderate comments. Unless it's super aggressive. I live in a world of sarcasm, bull shitting and trolling (sometimes).

You piss me off at times, but that's your right. Everyone has pretty much pissed me off here including Patrick. I let Patrick and the others manage it for the most part. Spam is pretty much the only thing I push into the dumpster. Probably only 4-5 times in the past year.

Moderation is a tricky line to balance on as a moderator. I don't want to be accused of censoring anyone. Doxxing is a huge no no for me, but I don't think that's happened in years here. The crew here is pretty solid despite differences, at least I think so. You piss me off with Ukraine and I like your take on EV's and Tesla.

We can't all have the same opinions on everything. What fun would that be? I don't like echo chambers.

You could have never met a black person in the US but could form a opinion based in the fact they commit more crimes per capita (of course there are differences within the heritage, culture, social status etc.). Same goes for this conflict. Hamas has been hurling rockets ever since, add on the atrocities of the last incident and they will get payback. And of course there will be collateral damage. I'm pretty critical of Israel's policies but I can clearly see the point people are making on here on both sides, and it's certainly not blind hate. It's at least a tad bit similar to the Ukraine conflict, where there have been constant aggressions against the Russians in the contested independent regions, for many years. And people are surprised when finally a conflict breaks out? Please..

I think it's pretty clear the point I'm making is hatred isn't based on facts at all, just emotion, fueled by propaganda. The one exception I could possibly think of is pedophiles. But that's neither religious, ethnic, nor national. In your example(ethnic), you quickly added a number of caveats, because you don't hate blacks.

You don't have objective facts about the Middle East. The information you've cited isn't even close to as black and white as you think. And if you don't want to learn why, I'll refer you back to the OP...

They took advantage of a radicalized environment to prey on people's irrational hatred of certain groups. Most of the "ass-kickers" you refer to are the ones who later said they were "just following orders". I've seen documentaries of former Tuel Sleng guards literally saying this excuse, or that they feared if they didn't comply, worse would happen to them.

The VAST majority are not sociopaths. But with no moral foundation, people can easily slip into justifying the worst atrocities. Maybe that's really what I'm really pointing out, that's we're losing our way morally. Moving further from God, and closer to Satan.

So what would you have us do? Loudly cheer every time Congress gives Ukraine another 20 billion dollars, and smile and shake the hands of the Military age Ukrainians that end up in Miami in a penthouse in a new high rise on the beach a few months later? I have done electrical work in Jumbo loan homes that were owned by 20 and 30 something Ukrainians that just came here to America a few months prior. Why is Ukraine our problem but not theirs? More over, originally there were only 2 or 3 "NeoCon" right wingers on this site. I would say the vast majority registered Republicans on this site, has only registered as such since Trump's entrance into politics in 2015. But remember, he only ran as a Republican because Mitt Romney didn't want him to RFK Jr. his chances against Barak Obama in 2020. So he was told by the RNC that if he didn't run in 2012, as a booby prize they would let him run on the Republican ticket in 2016. It was an inside joke, the RINOs and NeoCons got a good chuckle out of it and thought nothing more of it. Trump ended up hijacking the Republican party because of folks like us, that did switch over to the Republican side. I have always voted for the Independent Presidential candidate. I have never liked the Uniparty neither candidate was worthy of my vote until Trump.
But understand, what if Obama had asked him not to run because it would have taken votes from him. Then Trump would have been the Democrat candidate in 2016, and all of newly minted Republicans would be Democrats.

What about the hatred towards you from the factions you mention? And yes, you. Those people hate you. Remember where you live. Remember the main religions in the US. Remember the LGTBQ people they absolutely despise. It's not neocon.

You can find a flaw in any populous on the planet. You can hate them. This isn't some hippy party. I think almost all Patnetters are anti war though. Palestinians hate Israel. You're picking a side dude. A side that's on the other side of the globe. Let them figure out their own conflict. What can happen ? Trump comes in and reverses this as in getting the banks to return the loan money to the US Treasury, and the student loan balances return back to the amounts before they were paid off ?

Student loan debt is the worst because of not being able to discharge it in BK. That rule needs to change yesterday. The colleges should WANT the rule to be changed. Enrollment is going to start dropping as kids realize it's generally useless.

The only real reason for college is STEM and medical fields. Everything else should be trade school style or community college courses. My doctor likely is smart. Did he need to take English or History in college? Or some other stupid class? No. They can read about it in their free time if interested. My free time in college I studied on my own for real estate. Then running a RE business. I did a basic class over the summer to get hours, but I was half awake. Got me 15 years of solid pay even in the downturn for my age.

When you select a major, only classes related to that major should be taken. And it should only take two years. The next two years for a "masters" type path and then you get your certification. Like a PE for engineers. You still do 4 years, but it ONLY is courses that align with your field of work.

Universities still get their 4 years. Anyone wanting to go for a Phd will be massively more educated. So if they don't go into the field they learned, they can teach the next level as a job resulting in better engineers or doctors being trained since it was the only thing they did. Somehow the hillbillies wrenching on cars figured this out decades ago with trade schools and come out making $80/hr.
