As usual, cops are afraid to act, i.e. do their jobs.

Pensions are a helluva drug.

And they all remember Chauvin followed city policy, their state employer redid the autopsy, and now he's in prison.

They want that explicit order. They won't risk it even if they think they can justify it via policy.

That would have to have been an amazing shutter speed to capture any bullet path. I call bullshit until further proof.

Correct, as capturing a bullet would be about 28,000 frames per second, and that would not even be a full stop. High end video cameras can shoot 4k at a max of 120 fps but is usually set at 60 fps.

"Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?" - Attributed to Henry II, just before his knights murdered Archbishop Thomas Becket in 1170. ...

Soon after the assassination, Becket was venerated as a martyr, and two years later he was made a “Saint”. His tomb became a shrine, and a cult was born. The Knights of Saint Thomas were part of those leading the ‘Christian’ Crusades in the Holy Land.

Five days ago a message was sent from the so-called leader of the free world to his people:

“I have one job, and that’s to beat Donald Trump. I’m absolutely certain I’m the best person to be able to do that. So, we’re done talking about the debate, it’s time to put Trump in a bullseye,” Biden said.

Yesterday, the 'bullseye' was missed, and the brains scattered across the floor belonged to a follower of Trump, not to Trump himself, who survived the assassination attempt with minor injuries, apparently stronger than ever.

If all the political elites don’t cool their rhetoric and measure their words carefully over the next few months, this situation is going to end very badly for everyone

That’s a real tweet, not some unhinged scrawl from a shooter’s manifesto. ...

“There are but two parties now: Traitors and Patriots. And I want hereafter to be ranked with the latter and, I trust, the stronger party.”

According to many reports, the shooter’s building lay outside the official security perimeter. How the shooter knew where to go is anybody’s guess, and he’s not talking, and never will. There has been wild speculation about whether the Secret Service ‘failed’ to prevent the shooting. We don’t know yet, but it appears certain that Trump’s security detail was understaffed. Fox ran a story last night headlined, “Mayorkas denied 'repeated requests' for more Secret Service protection for Trump, GOP lawmaker says.”

Different angle with distances, just so folks get an appreciation of how close it was with a clear line of sight

Emerging from the cacophony of comments was this tweet, which perhaps best summarizes the political moment:

It’s very early. We must wait and see how things play out. But no matter what else last night’s shooting was —and it was many things— Trump’s muscular reaction was a defining moment, a new high water mark for the populist President, creating the clearest contrast between himself and enfeebled Joe Biden.

Dan Bongino, former Secret Service gives a litany of reasons why things are really fishy in Denmark. And no, he's not holding back any punches

At 78 years old.

Imagine what our enemies are thinking today about Donald Trump. All the phony basement dwelling assholes who were crying how President Trump was Putins lapdog.

You know what Vladimir Putin is thinking today?

Nothing but respect.

Same for China, North Korea, Iran, and anyone else that has less than the US best interests in mind.

Investigate enemies of the people:

DNC megadonor, Epstein Island visitor, and lawfare funder Reid Hoffman:

Then, in what one source described as "the dagger" and
another as a "twist of the knife," Thiel sarcastically
thanked Hoffman for funding lawsuits against Trump
because they had turned him into "a martyr," thereby
increasing his chances of re-election. "I am so grateful to
you," Thiel said.
From the stage, Hoffman shot back with his own sarcastic
quip: "Yeah, I wish had made him an actual martyr." And,
on that very
uncomfortable note, the exchange ended.
(Both Hoffman and Thiel did not respond to emails
requesting comment.)

The only way this could have been more Hollywood is if Trump shot the shooter himself and said, "You're Fired" and then the credits rolled to "Bad to the Bone"

But that picture is Real Life.

And we get to see it in our lifetimes.

The ONLY thing remotely comparable to this is when Jackson caned his assassin.
