As a way of trying to be relevant, the EU wants to loan the Ukraine about $250 billion. This will fund the Ukraine's ongoing war. As collateral, they will use the $300 billion in frozen Russian funds. This will be known as a reparations loan.
The US is trying to stop this European stupidity, but we'll see. The Europeans think they can steal $300 billion from Russia because the US will back them militarily.
The question is, "How stupid are they?"

Maybe we should let the Euros do that. That $250 billion would buy mostly US made weapons and then we refuse to allow the frozen Russian assets be used to pay it back.
