I don't see anything of major consequence until after 2026 elections. I think we will see Clarence Thomas resign. Not sure if in 2025 though. Sotomayor has some health issues, so if that ship sails the SCOTUS will be naturally stacked (not adding justices).

Honestly I really don't think much happens in 2025. Border and foreign policy are the biggies. Drill baby drill as well. The Rinos are going to hold him back either way. Hence why 2026 is more important. They need to win seats in both chambers of Congress. I think this year overall is going to be a dud politically. Dems can't even get votes to impeach. So this is a race to 2026.

The SIPC members are gonna try like crazy to get out of the obligations they have to former clients of Madoff. You see about 94% of the funds were paid back to his former clients, but that extra 6% is about $258 million. Supposedly, the SIPC is supposed to cover losses like that, but folks are gonna find out real quick that the SIPC is not a government entity. It is backed by the security dealers, themselves.

I must sadly predict that RFK Jr will either:

The Dollar will break parity with the Euro causing many Euroweenie tears to be shed.

Debt Crisis will start to go nuclear. The Fed will be forced to refinance it all. Since interest earned by USTs held by the Fed gets remitted to the Treaury Dept, that means the interest payments part of our deficits will be practically zeroed out even though the debt instruments are being 'paid'. As long as the Fed holds on to those treasures, things will be good.

Or, they just refi it at 1% or even zero.

USD will fall bigly vs assets and even other foreign currencies as all that Fed created money to refinance as per the above floods the money market. Inflation will be high in goods, but the US economy will boom, mostly. Interest rates on corporate, state/local, mortgages, etc will collapse at first. Companies like Apple that import their shit from China will be screwed, tho. All imports will skyrocket in price.

Other countries with too much debt to GDP like Japan will pull the same shit with central banks.

Some capital and export controls might be imposed. Esp for oil and food commodites.

Within about 8 months after this, THEN Trump can DOGE the fuck outta federal spending w/o harming the overall economy.
