I just realized. The West (read mostly the US) is basically paying for EVERYTHING in the Ukraine. From Soviet-era pensions for Baba's time at the Odessa Radio Factory to the Sewers of Kiev.

By everything, including the Europeans interest payments they're collecting for all the loans they gave Ukraine. Or at least, if Ukraine has to go back to paying for everything, it'll either be sewers and Baba Katya's pension OR Euro Interest payments to Frankfurt and Paris.

Figure at least $180 billion starting in early 2022 (does not include 1st term of Trump admin such as for Javelin shoulder fired missiles) has been provided for aid to Ukraine.
