Pope Francis, hospitalized Friday with bronchitis, has a "polymicrobial respiratory tract infection," the Vatican said Monday, and his "complex clinical picture" will "require an appropriate hospital stay" in Rome's A. Gemelli Polyclinic.

Who said what
The diagnosis essentially "means there's a mix of bacteria, viruses, fungi or parasites growing" in the his lungs, The Associated Press aid, and "for someone with the pope's medical history — he lost part of his right lung decades ago and has previously had pneumonia — it's worrying that he's been hospitalized." The Vatican said Monday that Francis was "in good spirits," in stable condition with no fever and had resumed "some work activities."

The 88-year-old pope's "medical challenges have become more numerous with age," including the removal of part of his colon, seasonal respiratory infections and knee problems and sciatica that have "caused a severe limp" and "often required him to use a wheelchair, walker or cane," The New York Times said.

My teacher was a nun who hit the students frequently, often for vague reasons.

I only did pre-k and Kindergarten at a Catholic school. Did I get whacked, yup. Did I do stupid stuff at a very young age, yup. It turned me off from the church. It was like everywhere I went the church was hitting and my dad was.

That's not "holy" in my world. It's shitty. The Catholic church probably loses 50-60% of kids early on. The way they treat kids probably loses them $100M-1B of donations a year as they grow older and leave the church. I don't know if it's still a common practice but it was an awful practice and a reason I think religion is bull shit. It's a control mechanism. Tax free money mechanism.

Can't believe I'm going to say this but religion is more corrupt than government. There's literally no oversight in religious institutions. Government you can at least FOIA stuff and look at the bills passed and most money spent. Religion, nothing. At least government doesn't physically rape/molest you either.

Well, walking down memory lane with the Catholic upbringing.

Cray cray! Wasn't there a scandal maybe a decade ago in Philadelphia where over 200 Catholic priests got caught child molesting? I remember some women I work with talking about it sort of. Maybe further back around 2002? If I recall the government sort of swept it under the rug or it was pushed out of the media with some sort of statement like, "The church will handle it".

PatGPT:

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has faced significant scrutiny over child sexual abuse cases involving priests. In August 2023, the archdiocese settled a case against a deceased priest, Monsignor John Close, for $3.5 million, acknowledging that they knew of similar reports about Close dating back to the 1970s. The plaintiff, a 14-year-old boy, was sexually assaulted by Close in 2006, and the case was reported in 2018.

Additionally, a 2018 grand jury report found that hundreds of Roman Catholic priests in Pennsylvania had molested more than 1,000 children since the 1940s, with senior church officials systematically covering up the abuse.
The Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests urged other victims to come forward and seek support, emphasizing the need to create a safer environment for children and ensure the prosecution of criminals.

In a broader context, the Catholic Church has faced widespread allegations of child sexual abuse by clergy members across the globe, with cases spanning several decades and often involving repeated abuse.
Efforts to address these issues have included apologies from Church authorities, investigations, and changes in Church laws to explicitly criminalize sexual abuse.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has been criticized for not disclosing the names of all clergy members accused of child sexual abuse, including 45 priests whose names were not included on their list of credibly accused priests.
The archdiocese defended its decision, stating that some priests were excluded because their conduct did not rise to the level of abuse, although a review board deemed them unsuitable for ministry.

These cases highlight ongoing concerns about the Church's handling of sexual abuse allegations and its efforts to protect victims and prevent future abuse.

I really don't know much about it but I think from what I've heard, the last pope, the guy who stepped down and was something like the 1st to do so in 800 years wasn't a bad guy.

By default they all are bad guys. You don't know what you don't know. They have trillions in real estate, yes trillions. Bring in hundreds of billions annually and pay no taxes on it. Or the property.

The church is a "moral" mafia. That includes all religions, so not just picking on Catholics.

I hear ya but didn't he try to push back on a lot of that shitte? Truly drop out due to the corruption? I really don't know. I just stay away from those fuckers and don't give them any more $.

I went to private schools my whole life and never had any experiences with abuse. In high school I mostly experienced sexually aggressive girls. It was a religious school and premarital sex is a BIG no-no so, the girls resorted to giving blowjobs.
36   Maga_Chaos_Monkey   2025 Feb 25, 7:25am

I don't have a problem with Christians and actually prefer them to other religious people except perhaps Buddhists - maybe. I don't know enough about that. I'm totally okay that they have whatever beliefs they have so long as they are okay with mine. Not all of them are. In fact 2 of my family members and I don't get along well on this topic so I try not to bring it up.

My main issue is with management. To me that is sort of self-evident that it's not a real thing though.

Looks like he had information that would have led to the arrest of Hillary Clinton.

I don't get why he wouldn't have dropped out knowing he was near death. I swear they do it to stir up donations/tithing/attention. He knew he was dying.

I shouldn't have laughed... But I did.

Love him or hate him, his time here on Earth has concluded. I pray that Jesus judges him justly, but with mercy and compassion.

Oh, no! All those fake relics and 'splinters of the true cross' are going up 200 percent!
42   Ceffer   2025 Apr 21, 10:00am

He's been dead for a few years now with the last couple of years being the customary game of shadows impersonations. To what end, who fucking knows. He's run by the Black Nobility and the P2/P3 Masons anyway.

Pope died on Easter. A fake death on an occult day. Standard operating procedure for the demons. Breaking 8's is a shattering of the mirrors that divide our world from the occult dimensions.

Yeah, he looked in real bad shape when meeting Vice President Vance. And some of the mainstream media claimed he kept that meeting short in order to snub Vance and the Trump administration, not because of his health.

John Paul II was the last great Pope.

LOL! They are making it Monday for publicity, but the rigged date is likely down to the minute and second of their numerologies on 4/20.

Pope Benedict had the right idea, to pass the torch.

Holding on, like Queen Elizabeth, is megalomania.
58   Ceffer   2025 Apr 21, 4:11pm

Remember the phony pictures of him in a hospital bed (with six fingers no less, flog the photoshop guy).

If Vance is the harbinger of doom of the Grim Reaper, these would be good suggestions.

67   Ceffer   2025 Apr 21, 10:24pm

So much weirdness and occult comms around the staged 'death' of this Pope. I guess that's par for the Holy Roman Empire Globalist course.
