Pope Francis, hospitalized Friday with bronchitis, has a "polymicrobial respiratory tract infection," the Vatican said Monday, and his "complex clinical picture" will "require an appropriate hospital stay" in Rome's A. Gemelli Polyclinic.

Who said what
The diagnosis essentially "means there's a mix of bacteria, viruses, fungi or parasites growing" in the his lungs, The Associated Press aid, and "for someone with the pope's medical history — he lost part of his right lung decades ago and has previously had pneumonia — it's worrying that he's been hospitalized." The Vatican said Monday that Francis was "in good spirits," in stable condition with no fever and had resumed "some work activities."

The 88-year-old pope's "medical challenges have become more numerous with age," including the removal of part of his colon, seasonal respiratory infections and knee problems and sciatica that have "caused a severe limp" and "often required him to use a wheelchair, walker or cane," The New York Times said.

I think they are short at least three zeroes on that wealth estimate, probably a lot more.

And, all of the bizarre, sanctimonious hypocrisy flows in. Apply Satanic Inversion decoder ring liberally.

LOL! JD Vance gets a boost in his street creds.

Trump cracks me up. I wonder if he is going to take another 650 military transports to get the rest of the tunnel treasures under the Vatican that he missed the first time.

Will the next Pope installation show up to his coronation in open ass vestments while nibbling baby ribs? Only the Jesuits know for sure.
Even the Holy Roman Empire has fake elections, because they already know who it is. The chain smoking, wine swizzling college of Cardinals 'voting' are window dressing. The assholes of the Swiss Guards are in for a workout.

Would anyone on this forum recognize a cardinal or bishop in person? Nope. There's a reason they wear a costume. Wearing regular clothes it's just a normal guy. Not famous.

They take the money and travel and do what they want as long as they show on Sunday and that's not even every Sunday.

Most of the Cardinals don't even celebrate mass except on ceremonial occasions. They are chief executives and managers of the franchise farms, mostly elites and politicians. Even bishops generally live the lives of privileged pashas in mansions with Church motivated servants.

Since Francis is long gone, they musta fished some cadaver out of a med school or something. Coulda have afforded better diener makeup work, though.

Pope's body reveals JD Vance handprint across face.

Queen Liz had her own personal hologram, too.

I'd betcha betcha betcha the 'New Pope' was picked before the last one was exited in whatever form, avatar or original. Jesuits and the Black Nobility pick the Pope. The 'Conclave' is window dressing and the Cardinal clerisy will probably soak up the local hookers (both male and female) like Davos on steroids while enjoying their symbolic vacation. I wonder if they vote with Dominion machines?

Hopium, or a stretch too far? Trump coms are as synoptic as they are synaptic.

What's with his floaty hands in the casket? I thought rigor mortis went away after a bit.

Does anyone actually care? I doubt we have a whole bunch of the church going crowd here. Some other fool will become pope and they'll blow smoke out the chimney at the vatican. This next one will probably be gay.

People have to realize this position is and has been about money for centuries. They don't actually believe themselves, they know it's bull shit. For being a religious man 88 is pretty young. Likely no drug or alcohol abuse, but that is an assumption. Hell look at Trump. No sleep and what on paper is a more stressful life.

We all know that Catholic church is shady. They're probably all popping uppers and downers of any kind all day as they likely facilitate some of the drug trade. We know copious amounts of wine is drank behind closed doors.

Fucking Jesuits.

I hope the Cardinals have found a more environmentally friendly way of choosing the new Pope than burning paper.
I can feel the sea level rise with every vote.....

How come there are no immense hirsute lesbian Cardinals? They would crush it.

I never got that. The media eats it up. I'm non-religious, but it seriously looks like human retardation. Just make an announcement. It's like Congress electing the POTUS. I didn't have a choice and don't give a shit at that point. Burn a horse or something in the square.

I mean, to the Catholics here, do you think you should get a vote in it? Or some hundreds of weird dudes dressed in Halloween costumes deciding for you who your pope is? It's a trillion dollar empire so to speak. These guys are likely educated in religion, not reality. Could they even build a basic bookshelf? They just repeat crap anyone can read.

The real issue is which Pope will Marcia (Mistress Frost) will elect with Elmer (Elfstone) when she is a Level 8 Warlock-Witch in Dungeons and Dragons with the Necronomicon.
107   TheAntiPanicanLearingCenter   2025 Apr 25, 11:01am

Just FYI there's new conclave rules, they have 20 days to start meeting from the death of the last pope.

Usually the see is vacant for about 3-4 weeks in the past century.
108   Ceffer   2025 Apr 25, 11:07am

I don't see it is a competition. It's more like 'Speaker of the House', hammering out the negotiations between the various factions for final policy implementations contracts for the likely already selected new Pontiff.
