Overheard in Mexico

I'm in a town with a waterfront "malecon" sidewalk where I walk after eating lunch.

Recently walking along with my local friend, some local Mexican guys were talking and he said to me "Did you hear them?"

"They said they hope that Trump comes and wipes out the cartels."

A friend of mine in Monterrey Mexico expressed the same feeling. Her state of Nuevo Leon and her mother's state Tamaulipas are completely gangster controlled.

Many Mexicans are afraid, others are tired, others are outraged at the cartels or "narcos" or "mana" from gangsters affecting every aspect of life in Mexico.

They also all know that Claudia Sheinbaum is just a figurehead, a hand picked protege of the last asshole socialist president who admires Fidel Castro and Che.

Sheinbaum recently was sparring with someone from the Mexican media asking why the gangster General Cienfuegos was hanging around her; Sheinbaum defended the gangster General and said "They didn't have proof against him." I guess they didn't find a dead body or a suitcase of cash in his closet.

The Mexico City protests are happening because their President Claudia Sheinbaum works for the Cartel

A Senator from Mexico went on Fox News and exposed it all

- The President of Mexico works for the Cartels
- She was funded by money from the cartels
- It’s not just the President, there are an entire group of Mexico politicians labeled the “narco politicians”
- Mexico is a “Narco state”
- Mexicans are afraid of the alliance between the Mexican government and the cartels
- The Morena (political party) is financed by the cartels, that’s how they get elected
- Once they get elected the deal is for the Mexican government to then protect the cartels
- The President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo doesn’t want this information getting out
- Mexicans and the Politicians who are no paid off by the cartels want Donald Trump to help with the cartels

The Mexico Senator exposing all this says she is now being threatened with prison for speaking out “The President has threatened me to proceed against me with criminal prosecution to get me out of the Senate and get me in jail just because I told you in this space in Fox News”

And now the assassination of Uruapan Mayor Carlos Manzo, an own cartel critic…

The cartel runs the Mexican government

And, without them, how many college males would never have known that women can fire ping pong balls across the room out of their cooties?

Is there a Mexican President that didn't?

Nothing new to see here. It's just the steam pressure release valve got shut down by Trump.

How did a Jew become the Mexican president?

Cartel money and election rigging. By that I mean how else is it going to happen?

Sheinbaum is complaining about Trump using the US military to sink drug boats, and there is only one reason why she would be doing that. The part I find puzzling is why the WEF/Blackrock/Jews/etc would even want to control Mexico.

Sheinbaum was in politics for a long time before becoming president. She's similar to Biden that way.
She was once mayor of Mexico City.
She has been a flunky for the previous president Lopez Obrador (AMLO) for some time, and this likely led to her being selected as the candidate for the Morena Party.
Nobody can do anything to improve Mexico using politics; the root of the problem is rural poor women having bastard kids who grow up to be gangsters.
It's like our "inner cities" but it's all over Mexico.
Yesterday I was with my friend and a female friend drove by; I invited her and her son to lunch with us.
My friend asked her probing questions; she has 2 kids by 2 fathers, never married.
She said she was an "architect" but my friend kept asking about her education and actually she just works at an architectural office; in Mexico they also are builders, so it's confusing.
Since she's pretty classy and La Paz isn't so economically depressed, her son won't likely grow up to be a gangster.
If she were very poor, he'd be interested in crime probably.

But-but-but .... some guy said it's a GOOD thing to have more kids than you can afford.

The same way “El Chapo” Guzman came to be head of the Sinaloa cartel. Follow the money.

TV, social media and the degradation of Catholic faith and Christian values which used to be very prevalent in México.

Why did we stay so long in Afghanistan? I know we're talking Mexico, but it was nothing to do with the war on terror. It was the poppy plant.

My buddy did 4-5 tours in Afghanistan. The Army at least was patrolling the poppy fields. At least he said that's what his unit was for. Not in writing or verbal, but that's what they did. There was some combat in certain areas which pissed off the Afghani's so they'd sabotage Americans where they could. It was all about money.

Would be the same for Mexico. Drugs and the trade of drugs. Also likely trafficking humans. You can get away with a lot more profitable yet illegal to the US activity in foreign countries without consequence.

Cartel money

Mexican cartels paid Chinese fentanyl suppliers via Las Vegas casinos such as high-stakes games like baccarat in order to launder the money.

The primary casino named in the CNN investigation is Wynn Las Vegas. It was at the center of a massive money laundering scheme involving Mexican drug cartels, Chinese underground bankers, and high-stakes gamblers.

************************************************************

🧾 Key Details from the Investigation
• Wynn Las Vegas:
• Agreed to forfeit $130 million to the U.S. Department of Justice in 2024.
• Admitted to conspiring with unlicensed money-transmitting businesses.
• Failed to maintain adequate anti-money laundering (AML) safeguards.
• VIP hosts allegedly helped underground bankers move illicit funds through high-roller gambling.
• Other Casinos:
• While Wynn was the focal point, investigators noted that “other properties” were also used by intermediaries like Lei Zhang, who was caught carrying large sums of cartel-linked cash into Las Vegas casinos.
• These other casinos were not named explicitly in the CNN report but were implicated in the broader laundering network.

🧠 How the Scheme Worked
• Cartel cash was funneled through Chinese underground banking systems.
• Wealthy Chinese nationals received U.S. dollars in Las Vegas to gamble.
• The money was laundered through baccarat tables and junket operators, then withdrawn as “clean” casino winnings.

Forfeited $130 million? That means they probably laundered well over $1Bn, likely much more. Rookie numbers.

True, it very likely was a slap on the wrist like they do with Wall Street firms that get a few million dollars fine for stealing or defrauding over $100 million.
31   Ceffer   2025 Nov 19, 11:10pm

It's not a fine. It's a cut and a bribe for not putting anybody in jail, then on the next big fraud because the operation is still intact with all the criminals still in charge.

Canada had some big scandals about this in their Casinos.

Sure, and one of their bigger Banks TD got like the biggest fine in US history Some $3 billion for money laundering. Not a single banker faced charges, of course. If the US government would instead blow up some banker's mansions and yachts in the Hampton's, along with the bankers themselves, there wouldn't be a need to blow up small fry drug runners in speedboats in the Caribbean.

https://www.reuters.com/business/finance/td-bank-appoints-compliance-monitor-after-3-billion-us-penalty-money-laundering-2025-02-27/

About $250 billion per year gets laundered through the US financial system.

Exponentially more than that. Almost any business that deals in physical cash, I'd say 60-70% are laundering or evading taxes in some ways. ~29 Trillion GDP that is RECORDED in the US. More of that GDP number is not included. Number is likely $1-3T laundered or tax evasion just in the US.

Drug money supports a lot of their businesses, like banks.
