1) I have not liked the attacks on @elonmusk by Steve Bannon. I understand what Bannon's concerns are. But in the past few months no one has been a bigger MAGA warrior than Elon.

2) That said, Bannon has a much clearer grasp of how things work and what the battle is.
@elonmusk 3) You may remember in 2016 that Bannon warned, "Did you think they'd just give you your country back?"

4) He knew this was not going to be a single act, bill, or executive order but at THAT time was the beginning of a long war.
@elonmusk 5) Elon, welcome to the battlefield. You thought because you and your great team exposed OBVIOUS fraud, OBVIOUS waste, and OBVIOUS corruption that the "good guys" would just run with that?

6) Er, no. Less than 30% of DC, even with MAGA, are "good guys."
@elonmusk 6) Many, perhaps most so-called "conservative" senators are bought, owned by either Big Pharma or the military.

7) Many of the House, not important enough to buy outright, are hostages to the Freedom Caucus Purity standards that are their primary FUNDRAISING INSTRUMENTS.
@elonmusk 8) As you know Elon, in marketing you can appeal to either hopes/dreams or fear. The Freedom Caucus, for all the good they've done, are largely now in fundraising mode with the equivalent of "goldbug" letters to elderly people.

9) "Reelect me or the DEBT will kill us all."
@elonmusk 10) NO ONE should lose heart. NO ONE should falter. If an army stopped the first time the enemy launched a counter attack, they'd NEVER win. There will be battle wounds. Elon, you got some.

11) Welcome to the club.

12) Now wipe the dirt off your armor and GET BACK IN THE FIGHT!

Overall, I like Elon a lot. I think it's doing the right things.

Some nits are that X still censors certain things, and Grok refuses to say anything bad about the death jabs.

So...when the hell is the EO for drug testing everyone in government gonna come down ???

Drug testing is an easily manipulated sticky wicket. It would just result in another form of vilification for some, blackmail for others. I know, I was extensively involved in testing subjects for many years with my professional committee. Also tests tend to be specific. They don't automatically test for 'everything' that could be abused, and timing cycles in testing are important. Hair tests for long range survey of specific substances can be useful. There are guys who would shave every last hair off their bodies on a daily basis to avoid hair tests (LoL, might result in a lot of bald Congress critters).

With every 'test' there is an evasion and a potential bribe or grift. Clean urine amongst the 'gatekeepers' sold to the subjects provided good income to some recovery facility guys. One 'counsellor' who I talked with was found to keep a small low level heater with vials of clean urine in his desk drawer that he sold to the rich subjects. One addicted surgeon collected his own daughter's clean urine and loaded an IV bag with a tubing he held under his dick and opened for 'observed' urines.

I think Elon was brought in to scare the living shit out of the baleful Satanic politicians and grifters as a figure head. I think most of what he is credited with was already done behind the scenes before Trump technically was inaugurated. One guy could not do all of that stuff.

I think it was mission accomplished.

When will the codify the EOs????

In the discretionary version of this bill up next. Most of what the EOs and DOGE nixed are discretionary items.

This bill is limited to mandatory spending
