The H1B battle is not about brilliant people or Hindus , It is really about the “ Hindu Junk “ who is subpar and using Hindu bribery to replace Americans.
These same junk level Hindus are racist towards Sikhs and whites and Muslims, The geniuses are to busy to create value for 🇺🇸.

I agree but we're distracting from our own fight. It shouldn't be "Don't import any" but more about regulating what constitutes tech skills we are in need of.
As long as we say we don't need any Indians, they will just keep pointing to the Labs where cutting edge technology is created.

I think the number we need to run the Enterprise computers servers, networks, Coding, website design, graphic design ect. Is ZERO!

It's an insult to all Americans for anyone to suggest we don't have people skilled enough to perform those jobs.

Also HB1 visa holders should be barred from executive level positions.
CEO
CFO
CIO ect...
143   gabbar   2024 Dec 27, 11:39am

H1B employment visa originates in F1/student visa. Universities need out of state fee paying students and ultra cheap (less than minimum wage earning) research assistants (research is where university makes money, not teaching). Money made in popular/money making departments (CSc, Engineering for example) is shifted to Departments of Wokesism, this is the only way to keep these wokeism departments going.

There will be little or no change going forward, imo. This is not about merits of the issue; its about money. If Trump succeeds in changing this parasitic system, he would be the greatest President forever in the history of the US.

Bottom line, Elon’s honeymoon is officially over, and the wedding party must swim back to the mainland through shark-infested waters. Elon’s stock with some MAGA types had clearly fallen below zero yesterday. Buying and freeing twitter? Who cares! Funding the Trump campaign? So what! Swinging Silicon Valley to MAGA? That’s old news! Elon favors H1-B work visas!

Now, you might think the argument over H1-B work visas is a pretty wonky and thinly sliced issue. You might think it is hardly the issue to torch the MAGA movement over. Stick with me. There’s a lot more to this, and it is dark. ...

The deep state ran a color revolution strategy against the Tea Parties, and look what happened. They’ve been trying for years to start one against MAGA, but so far they’ve been unsuccessful.

Yesterday, they finally had a breakthrough.
148   mell   2024 Dec 27, 5:58pm

Disagree. This is not a color revolution fueled by the deep state. Trump has said forever that the H1B program is abuse and needs to at the minimum be severely curtailed if not abandoned. Now it's his time to make good on this promise. They can always reopen the program or up the quota should something "bad" come from this, which it won't.
149   Maga_Chaos_Monkey   2024 Dec 27, 6:53pm

There was a paper on the interwebs back in 1997 I've looked for the past few years. Like a photocopy of a document written on a type writer with citations, footnotes only a few pages long max, maybe less.

It detailed the government and tech collusion to implement the H1B system. This was before the dot com crash. Anyhow, it predicted all of this, how we were being sold out and I sure wish I could find it again but it seems to have vanished.

Maybe 1998 or early 99..

HOLY SHIT, Elon

Elon hoez mad he didn't get in on the O-1 visa but the H1B?
152   TheAntiPanicanLearingCenter   2024 Dec 27, 11:08pm

The Right has a tendency to blackpill like crazy, or just throw it's hands up, and has a genius for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory by finally snapping at the worst possible time.

Keep Redpilling Elon.

The POINT with H1Bs is to demonstrate with indisputable facts like those in this thread, that it is NOT that same as O-1 visas. It's been turned into a cheap labor scheme by Carly Fiorina types

Also fellow anti-H1B folks, let's not forget there are UNLIMITED H1Bs with NO CAPS for NGOs, State Colleges, etc. which is why they are packed with H1B in staff positions. "But it's only 85k/year" It's a lot more than that.
153   TheAntiPanicanLearingCenter   2024 Dec 27, 11:10pm

I decided to search "Santa" just to see if there was a critical shortage of Mall Santas that only Abu from Karachi could fill.

Fortunately not, but I found this whopper

"Hurr Durr, Retail Store Manager is an arcane and rare skill no lazy, stupid American possesses. There are no bicycle fanatics anywhere in California. that would rather run a Bike Store than being a supervisor at Smoothies Hut."
154   TheAntiPanicanLearingCenter   2024 Dec 27, 11:42pm

Apparently no American in the Ozark Area is capable of managing a convenience store for ~$48k/year according to Founder Ibraheem Kahtoot and President Abdul Quddus.

Thanks for creating good jobs, diversity blessings! For H1Bs, at least.
155   gabbar   2024 Dec 28, 5:36am

This is not a secret.

156   gabbar   2024 Dec 28, 5:42am

If Americans don't fight this (not on the internet but on the streets and in politics), they are looking at a bleak future for their children. It might be too late already.

Elon is right about himself and for himself only; he cannot have a short term and self interested view on this. WTF

If this is a real tweet, it's a bit short sighted. He doesn't exist without America. Someone else would have figured out all his companies at some point.

Electric golf carts have existed for around 50 years I believe. He just scaled up existing tech. Tunnels have been built forever, again borrowed tech. Space X is maybe the only argument he did something unique. Reality is someone would have done it anyway that was natively born in America.

I like Musk, but he's showing his ego here. I know likely 200 engineers that could work for him that are Americans. A few have done award winning work nationally. This is just who I know. He just wants slave labor from poor countries that got educated. Does it work for him, likely yes, but it doesn't work for the citizens you built your companies in. That's a tweet I'd delete. Though I don't know what is real or fake anymore.
160   Patrick   2024 Dec 28, 11:16am

The answer is easy: require all H1b salaries to be a minimum of a $500,000 per year.

If the person really is a star, the company will pay it.

If the company is really just trying to shortchange American workers, the person will not be hired.

Done.
164   TheAntiPanicanLearingCenter   2024 Dec 28, 6:07pm

Great Thread: Salary breakdown shows the vast number of H1Bs are for lower-middle band job ranges, not the top tier of elite experts.

Patrick Bet-David's H1B worker

Nobody in the State of Florida would do Graphic Design for Valuetainment ... at the price multimillionaire Bet-David wanted to optimally pay.

But as usual, Trump does not speak clearly enough.
