A New Jersey surgeon allegedly “cheered” the assassination of conservative pundit Charlie Kirk — and a nurse who spoke out against the vile act claims she’s been suspended for her objections.

Lexi Kuenzle, a nurse at Englewood Health, filed a lawsuit Friday in Bergen County Superior County Court against the hospital, Dr. Matthew Jung and others claiming she was wrongly fired for calling out the doctor’s vile act on her personal Instagram account.

“[Kuenzle] had the audacity to question how Dr. Jung can comply with the Hippocratic Oath’s and the American Medical Association’s Code of Medical Ethics while celebrating the murder of a non-violent Christian speaker who was on a college campus,” the suit says.

Kuenzle was in front of a nurse’s station with eight other nurses, and a patient in a stretcher, when the news of Kirk’s death broke.

“Oh, my God! That’s terrible! I love him!” Kuenzle said, before Jung shot back.

“I hate Charlie Kirk. He had it coming. He deserved it,” the bariatric surgeon allegedly said.
...
The following day she was pulled into a meeting with hospital brass and suspended without pay pending a probe, the nurse claimed. A union rep also suggested she start looking for another job.

She's gonna be rich. Sue the Union too.

I say that this has nothing to do with Charlie Kirk and everything to do with nurses not knowing their place in the doctor-nurse hierarchy.

That's why she got suspended pronto before a hospital lawyer intervened with, "STOP! We do this and we get sued. Plus the PR will look bad."

Yes. Orgs fuck up like this.

She fucked up by publicly posting the incident. I am certain that’s why she’s being fired. Republicans need to learn to better handle this stuff.

10 BRICS bucks sez this one gets settled out if court, tho.

Ain't no way they want this before a public trial.

This. Nurses have a chip on their shoulder. Doc shouldn't have said it, but nurses don't know everything. And yes Molotov neither do I.

Nurses are prone to be loud mouths. Munchausen syndrome is common with nurses as well. They know everything and have the pill to throw at anything. One of my former friends had a kid die because she didn't take the kid to a doctor. Became a nurse after that. Now she thinks she a damn doctor. She's an idiot. You let your kid die. She just throws pills at everything. Let the body bark as an adult at least. We've traveled with her and she just has pills she'll throw at you. Couldn't have gotten an antibiotic for your son?

I heard this kind of stuff in Santa Cruz after the PA aborted Trump assassination. A recently retired doctor from a group I was with kept making a sign like, if only the bullet had been closer to his head, like it was a joke. My estimation of him dropped ten floors after that I had to admit. Of course, maybe he retired on Covid proceeds of some kind. The death dealing, reimbursements, and vaccine capping probably made a lot of doctors rich enough for early retirement.

Agreed. Not clear at all if this has anything to do with hierarchy. The hospital is on thin ice here, it's not like there was a hippa violation or anything similar. Think she'll win the suit

She's pretty hot too, may help here. We need to revive the "this Thread is worthless without pics" obligatory comment tradition, providing eye candy, as started by Zzyxx or Booger I think.

Nurses do know a lot in hospitals.
Sometimes complaining would leads to unintended outcomes.

In the following cases, Jihadi doctor flew to his Porkistan for his safety after nurse reported what she saw! Lol!

Wow, wtf:

An anesthesiologist walked out in the middle of surgery to have sex with a nurse in another operating room, according to multiple reports.

The incident happened in 2023, but the doctor recently had a hearing in the United Kingdom that will determine if he is fit to practice medicine in the country once again.

The doctor was identified as 44-year-old Suhail Anjum.

No they don't. They literally can put a needle in your arm, take blood pressure, check your ears, temp and throat. Heroin addicts do this every day in some cases.

Yes there are surgical nurses they know way more. Your average nurse is an idiot at an urgent care. Yet the act like docs around you. They can't diagnose at all. Like I said, idiots.

You don’t think companies will fire someone for publicly airing their internal dirty laundry?

It’s not an actionable offense either. Not even with union representation. Hence why her union rep told her to start looking for a new job.

Source: I’ve had first hand experience with this situation on a much larger scale and something of much greater importance in a government job with union representation. Not me, but I have actual first hand knowledge of the situation, the “whistleblower” and the actions that took place up through the aftermath of the termination and the whistleblowers failed attempt to hire an attorney to sue the government entity.

Still, she did the morally right thing by going public.

Now lots of people know what a shit Dr. Jung is.

I don’t quibble with that but the situation posited why she was terminated and it wasn’t because she thought the doctor was a shit head.

Hahahahaha!

Yup. Hospital lawyers stepped in, "Are you ppl fucking crazy?!"

Not so sure I am on board with the 'inverse anti-Constitutional' caper around Charlie agent. Is it attacking the Constitution from another direction with Hegelian dressing?

The "nurse does not contradict a doctor in front of the patient" applies to a diagnosis, treatment, or other medical matter. It does not apply to items like politics or movie opinions. The nurse was fired for her political opinion using that "contradict a doctor in front of the patient" as an excuse.

She wasn't fired. Suspended. And she didn't express a political opinion, the doctor did in front of a patient and other staff. A very inappropriate one at that. She merely filed a complaint with management because what he said.

I think one is better off with an NP for many common ailments. Doctors are sometimes in a rush, many Doctors, esp. young ones, are just "Funnellers".

This. The NP is great at this and with less ego will quicky set up an appointment with any needed specialist.

What is this with the desire to mirror everything the leftoids do? Does Charlie Kirk really have to be turned into the equivalent of n-word ? What purpose does it serve?

Totally different, your two oranges do not cheer on political murder let alone violence. Also the hospital is free to keep the MD employed. Furthermore vaccines protect the vaccinated, there is no negative side effect for society in not taking a vaccine, in fact it has a beneficial effect of passing on natural immunity to future generations.
