Vegas was such a boom town it was unreal. But it was a house of cards, all dependent upon the money of tourists. Money has dried up and the economy is in a freefall. It's a scarey time to be a homeowner in Vegas.

Looking at some numbers at housing tracker.... I wouldn't be surprised to see in the next six to nine months property in las vegas selling for less than that of Detroit! Believe it or not there's been a tad of a increase in detroit and vegas is still falling hard. I'm sure they'd be some blip about this maybe in the media then but it's striking how the fastest growing city in the USA is going to have properties selling for less than the fastest shrinking city!
