Did not know this.

Below is the "official" (term used very loosely) explanation from Dark Mice - er - Mark Dice - whatever...anyway before you read that, here is the word on the street concerning the kerfuffle.

Seems they were both enjoying some quality time (wink wink) on a sofa and watching the movie Deliverance.

After getting turned on by the squealing pig scene all hell broke loose when neither would agree to be the top for the night.

Both of them insisted they could squeal better than the other one and demanded to be the bottom.

That's how it all got started....so sad...and such a beautiful couple

Anyway back to the "official" excuse...

Mark Dice Comes Out Against Alex Jones -

Alex Jones and I's falling out explained. In April of 2011 I was expecting a payment from Big Brother and it was almost two weeks late and when I called and asked for the check, he flipped out and told me to fuck off and said he'd pay me the following month instead because of a misunderstanding about the terms of my payments. I owed that money to the IRS within days because April 15th was right around the corner. I explained this and calmed him down, and got him to send the check but then he still turned his back on me and dumped all my other books which he carried for the last three years and never had me on again even though we agreed it was just a misunderstanding. I was very hurt at the things he said to me on the phone and how things went down. Imagine one of your role models telling you to fuck off and that they wish they never dealt with you, and all over a misunderstanding that should have been easily fixed.

That was April of 2011, and after six years of being a regular on the show every few months, all of a sudden I stopped getting asked to come on, and he stopped stocking my books after our misunderstanding, which we supposedly got through, but apparently he still decided he was done with me. That's the gist of it. Not wanting to bite the hand that feeds me, I kept this to myself hoping not to piss him off any more than he already was at me. Then over the next six months or so, I see his business model change from selling DVDs to Multi-Level Marketing vitamins and infomercial weight loss claims and so I started giving my analysis on this along with the lead, mercury and arsenic in the Kool Aid he was pushing. No longer putting him on a pedestal as I had for years I clearly started seeing him hype things up I knew weren't accurate and sensationalize half-truths and misunderstandings (i.e. getting a phone call from the NSA, when in reality it was a prank using a caller ID spoofer). In my opinion he has to do everything he can to increase his web hits and increase ad revenue because he has so much overhead since the infowars studios grew so big with such a large facility. He's a conspiracy shock jock entertainer basically, that's why "everything" is a conspiracy and he doesn't debunk anything because that's not fun and exciting radio like talking about how a Swat Team is going to come to your house at any moment to confiscate your guns.

Then I just found out he blocks me from his YouTube channel so his videos don't show up on my homepage anymore. I only commented two times on any of his videos over the years, so I wasn't even debunking him in the comments section there or even really commenting at all. I believe they just wanted to take preemptive action to make sure I wouldn't do that when they heard I was making fun of his Kool-Aid, Beyond Tangy Tangerine and that I wasn't going to be intimidated into keeping my mouth shut anymore. So, I believe it all comes back to money again. I think he was pissed that my talking about the Kool-Aid would hurt sales and so they blocked me on YouTube. There's a little more to it than this, but this is pretty much the gist of what happened.

Somehow he left out the argument about the movie - very odd. So sad to see love torn asunder

Can anyone provide a link to where Trump knowingly hired illegal alien labor?

So you think we should let employers off Scott free for hiring illegals?

No, we should punish them. Is this something donkey demand in exchange for the wall? No? Why not?

Which Democrat is promoting E-Verify?

Democrat Defenders keep mentioning that, so which National Level Democrat is promoting it?

Why didn't Trump voluntarily adopte e-verify at all of his companies? Why isn't he still adopting e-verify at all of his companies? I only read it will be adopted at his properties, the 2 don't mean the same.

Not what I asked. You keep bringing up E-Verify.

Vox and Salon can bitch till the cows come home because a handful of illegals were hired way down the Corporate Ladder by one of Trump's businesses.

Since they hate illegal employers so much, which National Democrat is pushing E-Verify?

Why didn't Trump voluntarily adopte e-verify at all of his companies from day 1 of his presidency?

For some devious self-serving reasons, of course. Where are donkeys on this issue? Asleep at the wheel?
100657   MisdemeanorRebel   2019 Feb 10, 3:42pm

Elgatouno says
Yes I do, why is it Trump didn't set a good example to all companies by adopting e-verify? All I've seen Trump push for is a wall. E verify would make it harder for all illegals to work in US as opposed to a wall which could only ever stop a minority of illegals.

Again, Dems think that not having mandatory E-Verify is so awful, so which ones are pushing it?

So you really didn't hear about Congressman Steve King from Iowa?

Uh, I'm not huge fan of Steve King (I don't vote in his state), but are you seriously comparing what he's done to Herring or Northham?

He's basically telling the truth about illegal aliens, and he wants to make the official language of his state's documents "English", big fucking deal. He's also one of the few who is truthful about the contents of the Quran, which I'm sure you have read, right?

He also makes valid points about some "cultures" being better than other cultures. That's absolutely true. There's a reason why Aztec deity sacrafices are not the norm in modern society, and there's a reason why the Indian caste system is not part of Western culture.

You seriously consider that the same as walking around in black face or wearing KKK hoods? No wonder the Democrats have zero morals or standards, they apply NONE to themselves.

He does 2 hour rallies in stadiums and hangers with hot lights and air conditioner, while wearing his suits with body armer under it.

Actually if he is managing to squeeze in some shut eye. I'm glad to hear it, I couldn't have done his schedule when I was in my 20's let alone 50's. I don't know how in the hell he keeps up at 70.

The days of making it a faux requirement of public office to be a moral paragon are over. And Democrats can thank Bill Clinton for putting the stake through the heart of that particular vampire. If anyone was confused as to his morality and character, getting caught in a sworn lie about getting sucked off by an intern in the Oval Office made it clear that the POTUS was not of good moral fiber. And yet, the country went on largely as before.
People shrugged, and got used to the POTUS being just a guy.

So for all the Democrats who are outraged at Trump for his moral failings, kindly remember who got this ball rolling. The hymen has been punctured and there’s no repairing that bitch. Character assassination attacks are no longer very effective against a sitting POTUS. Ya all are barking and barking, but that squirrel is sitting up in the tree playing with its nuts and doesn’t give a fuck.

The true economic impact of the shutdown has just begun to reveal itself. Initial estimates place loss to U.S. economy in the billions.

Now that the longest government shutdown in U.S. history is officially over (for the time being, at least) and the dust is beginning to settle, we’re getting our first look at the cost of the shutdown on the economy.

A new report from the Congressional Budget Office shows that the shutdown likely cost the country $11 billion in economic activity over the last month.

The CBO estimates that the country’s gross domestic product will likely be down by $3 billion for the fourth quarter of 2018 compared to what it would have been had the government not shut down at the end of the year.

But given that the government shut down towards the end of December, the greater impact will be felt in the first quarter of this year. According to the CBO, the level of real GDP is expected to be $8 billion lower in the first quarter than it would have been if the government was open for business.

A new report from S&P Global Ratings suggests a similar downturn in economic activity as a result of the shutdown. According to S&P, the U.S. economy lost at least $6 billion dollars because of the shutdown, which S&P notes is more than the $5.7 billion that the White House requested for the border wall that was the central cause of the shutdown itself.

“The longest partial shutdown in history, which started as a minor cold, began to feel like a nasty flu that had begun to spread across the states. And the overall cost is likely worse than what we had previously expected,” S&P said in its report.

And while the CBO notes that some of the lost economic activity will likely be regained in future quarters, both the CBO and S&P write that some of what was lost during the shutdown may never be recovered.

“Among those who experienced the largest and most direct negative effects are federal workers who faced delayed compensation and private-sector entities that lost business,” the CBO said. “Some of those private-sector entities will never recoup that lost income.”

S&P agrees, noting that some of the direct costs from the shutdown are unrecoverable.

“In particular, economic activity from lost productivity from furloughed government and contract employees won’t be recovered. The direct hit to economic activity from furloughed workers is amplified by lost spending by furloughed government and contract workers due to lack of ready income,” S&P notes. “Furloughed contract workers will not get back pay, so they are left trying to repair finances after losing five weeks of wages.”

The CBO also notes that there are some other consequences that will not likely be felt immediately, but will begin to show themselves in time.

“For example, some businesses could not obtain federal permits and certifications, and others faced reduced access to loans provided by the federal government. Such factors were probably beginning to lead firms to postpone investment and hiring decisions,” the CBO wrote.

“In addition, risks to the economy were becoming increasingly significant as the shutdown continued,” the CBO added. “Although their precise effects on economic output are uncertain, the negative effects of such factors would have become increasingly important if the partial shutdown had extended beyond five weeks.”

S&P also notes that the shutdown may have lasting consequences on the government employees and contractors who were basically turned into pawns in what turned out to be a pointless political standoff.

“We did not consider the effect on morale of government workers who were required to work without pay. Even if they decided to show up to work (some, reportedly, have called in sick), we suspect that working in those conditions has lowered productivity rates for them as well,” S&P said.

“It may also create a challenge for government agencies and contractors, when they want to hire them back,” S&P continued. “With worries that Uncle Sam may leave them in the lurch, with bills to pay, the next time the government decides to close (which is all too frequent), these workers may decide to opt for a job in another industry that they feel has more job security.”

And with another potential shutdown looming in just a few weeks, those negative effects could come sooner rather than later.

“Although this shutdown has ended, little agreement on Capitol Hill will likely weigh on business confidence and financial market sentiments. For those workers who were living without a paycheck, revolving credit payments and credit scores may also take a hit,” S&P said. “Although this funding battle has ended, the next one starts in a few weeks, which may reduce growth expectations if businesses and financial markets begin to expect that Congress and the president will repeat the experience again and again.”

Of course, it does not matter that the same people (who now get hit by lower returns) got more money in paychecks due to tax cuts.
It would be extremely nice if "journalists" would not suffer from terminal TDS and would actually try to be objective. But I understand, ORANGE MAN BAD, WHATEVER HE DOES IS HORRIBLE.

Sure, the plan was 'make the rubes feel rich by throwing them pennies in the weekly pay packet' so they only experience the rape of transfer from their pathetic incomes for bonuses for billionaires once when the refund is crushed.

That is true, but the article should be titled "Plebes get $1 handout while Masters of Universe keep all their loot" instead of "Why millions of people are getting hit with a surprise tax bill this year". No one gets hit by a surprise tax bill if they know how to use a calculator. Besides, owners of the media likely belong to the Masters of Universe class of better people, so do not expect any honesty there - just TDS based on emotions.

I bought a 12 X 20 Tuff Shed for my backyard with my Tax refund. That's on top of getting an extra $120 every biweekly paycheck.

The Shed will be great, insulated electric outlets customized windows and doors. I'm moving my Man Cave/Office/Studio out there. The family is growing and we need my room inside the house.

Thanks Donald Trump! Good looking out!

I wasn't able to itemize this year as the standard deduction was higher than in the past. I had adjusted my deductions because last year I got like $2,000 back, and I always aim to owe a little. Not cool with interest free loans to the IRS. Ended up owing $500 this year.

Nobody is, but the alternative is often interest and penalties. At least with the state of Maryland, you don't get hit with them if your payments meet or exceed your last years liability. With the feds it's a fuck you if you don't do some sort of calculation to get it close enough.
100685   fdhfoiehfeoi   2019 Feb 12, 11:01am

I've never been penalized, and this year especially there is no way to justify it given how much things have changed. Best I ever did was owing $88.

I just did the math I got about 1K less back this year, but get to keep 2472 extra every year.
According to 2018's taxes.

Between the tax break and 3% yoy raises I'm making $7892 more this year. Than I was when Obama was President and Trump was running promising I would make more money. The wages were stagnant and going backwards under Obama.

Thanks again TRUMP!
