The American fairy tale is that, say, Bill Gates somehow deserved to be the richest guy on earth. In reality, he got the contract to supply DOS to IBM PC's through his mother's connections and then systematically used that operating system monopoly to prevent the free market from working. He gave away software to kill Netscape, Lotus 123, Wordstar, and on and on, until he owned all of it. He was also able to use control over the operating system to prevent those programs from working as well as his own clones.

To be fair, he really did it by price. Remember, Mac and Amiga were strong competitors that Gates did not control. When Window 3.1 came out, Mac and Amiga prices fell by over half. The success of Windows was because it was much cheaper and "good enough." Windows also killed Silicon Graphics by being able to do similar work at a tenth of the cost.

Republicans (not Dems) started the Mueller investigation, because there was plenty of evidence that it needed to happen. Trump obstructed it and would not testify, so it took longer than it needed to. When Mueller found that there was not enough evidence to charge on conspiracy (not the same as no evidence!), the Dems said OK. We will accept that and move on. The next day, Trump was pressuring Ukraine. There is no witch hunt. That's just Trump propaganda, because he didn't want to testify, and wants to prevent everyone around him from testifying.
McGahn was ordered by a court to testify. By the time it gets to the SC, the election will be over, but the obstruction is legendary.
