I could never understand why Eliot Spitzer resigned for using his own money on a high class hooker. Compared to what the politicians and judges have been doing these days, he would qualify as a saint.

I thought at the time, and more so now, that Spitzer was coerced into resigning because he was going to go after Wall Street for financial shenanigans. Maybe someone made him think about the safety of his daughters (like what happened to Seth Rich).

Is there some news about Trump?

I think he's enjoying starving the media, which lived on nothing but TDS for more than four years.
113436   MisdemeanorRebel   2021 Mar 12, 7:48pm

It's a great strategy, too. They really want him out there so they can "Fact Check" him and call him a liar and distract from Biden and the House's nonsense

Without Trump, they have to try to make a victim of Markle and hope for famous people dying ("Keep Hope Alive") and apologize for Biden incessently. "Sure, $1400 is fine! Only a KKK Nazi wonders why it wasn't the $2000 promised. "
113437   clambo   2021 Apr 9, 7:26am

Yeah, he’s great.

I remember him on TV before he was governor and he was always fearless.

I will vote for him 100%, and I will send $ to his campaign.
113438   HeadSet   2021 Apr 9, 7:30am

I wonder if the "DeSantis" surname would help pull in Hispanic votes nationwide. Of course, that name sounds "Italian" as well.
113439   Tenpoundbass   2021 Apr 9, 7:34am

Florida needs him, there's no one to replace him yet.
Also this is his first term as anything, let the man mature and dry age a little in office to make sure he's just not giving lip service to butter up the voters for the Presidency.
I don't know why we all fall in love with a politician the first few years of their first term. Anyone can try not to be an asshole for a few years.
But seriously Florida still needs him.

I say there are just as many hard ass Libtard slayers out there. The 2024 Republican primary ticket is going to be the exact opposite of the 2016 ticket.
By that I mean, I think most Patriots will be happy with either of them winning. I hope to see people like.

Mike Lindel
Lin Wood
Mike Pompeo
and some more I'm not thinking of.

I think that's why Pence thinks he will have a shot, with the Republican voters that feel compelled to vote for the Establishment no matter how bad they are.
He will be the only Establishment class running in 2024.
113440   WookieMan   2021 Apr 9, 7:46am

I like him a lot even though he fucked up a vacation this time last year. Dick.

His voice. Not sure what it is. I think it will turn a lot of people off if that makes sense. It sounds very whiney. He might have trouble with the deer shooting Midwesterners, which you need in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio (somewhat) and Minnesota. You have to carry 2-3 or those states for sure. Unfortunately you can't change your voice.

I'd vote for him in a heartbeat though. No issue with Trump, I'd vote for him again, but he's too old at this point. We're seeing it with Biden. Very, very rarely does someone hit 80 and have all their capacities working 100%.

Rand Paul would be the only other one. But logic doesn't work with the media and politics. They will and do shoot him down instantly.

113442   Shaman   2021 Apr 9, 7:53am

DeSantis, Rand Paul, Mike Pompeo for me in that order of preference.
We can’t run Trump again. He’s acquired way too much baggage, and far too much of it was rightly earned. The media has run millions of hours of negative propaganda against him as well and an investment like that tends to stick in voters minds regardless of objective truth.
Fucking media, seriously.

The last election was stolen. It was obviously stolen, unless you really believe a senile, corrupt, pervert is really the most popular presidential candidate in all of US history.

Whatever is run in 2024 will just be another fucking meat puppet. The Republic is done.

That doesn't bother me, as much as he allowed every scumbag in Hades to bitch slap him and America relentlessly. All because of his ego, he did not want History to say he was a Dictator or used his power to get out of jams.

He allowed that Marxist Election system to develop after seeing it in action in 2016 then again in 2018. The outcome of the 2020 election should not have surprised anyone that has been paying attention. It pissed me off that he let it happen, but I wasn't the least bit surprised that it went down the way it did. I fully expected it, as long as Trump was doing dick all to prevent it.

I think Pompeo, would have shoved Jeff Sessions up Robert Mueller Ass, and flipped the whole script on the Bastards in Congress making up lies.

That would have just pissed him off more, and everyone that exposed themselves would have gone to jail.

People misunderstand leadership.

If everybody below you, refuses to carry out your orders, you're simply a figurehead. That's what Trump was. The ONLY thing he EVER had, was the bully pulpit, and notice, they've memory holed everything he said over the last 4 years, and have silenced him by deplatforming him.

We have an oligarchical dictatorship. Trump never had any power, except the power to speak.

I’m a bit amazed by the blaming the victim (Trump) for the election steal.

He did what he could. A vast asshole conspiracy is hard to defeat, even for a superman like Trump.

He kicked the living shit out of Biden and his loser ilk, but the fix was in the minute the governors illegally changed the voting rules to mail in voting.

I’m voting for Trump again, and I’m sending his campaign 2 grand when he does.

I can afford it; I’ll just use the money I made with GME stonk.

He had the authority to tie them all up in the same legal mumble jumble snafus they pulled on him.
He could have and should have immediately hired an independent council to investigate Jeff Sessions, recusal and how the Muller investigation got started.
He could have appointed a new one, every time they reared their heads in the Hearings. Like the Love birds, he should have put one on Kerry's state department, Hillary's crimes that never got any serious scrutiny, I would have doled them out like hotcakes.

I would have also fired every motherfucker in the DOJ and FBI every last one of the Cock Suckers.
I would have flipped it to the point that the DOJ and FBI stonewalled Mueller and made him fell like it was He under investigation.

Trump took a constant piss stream on his face. While letting us fantasize about the people that we thought were on the side of Good. He knew better, but let the QAnon bullshit and the "Trust the Plan" mantra to continue.

He should have been a fucking wrecking ball! At least made them all damn sorry they ever tried to fuck with him. Instead he wanted so much to placate all of them and be respected as a proper presidential President. And Presidential Presidents don't take a wrecking ball to the corrupt facade that has been our government for the past 40 to 60 years.

I'm intelligent enough and did pre-law study. He's a motor mouth. That is an attempt to cover up some of his bull shit. And this is coming from someone that doesn't mind him. I just know what he's doing. I dealt with guys like him in college.

50% roughly of the country liked Trump whether the media admits it or not. He takes parts of all political parties and formulated a plan. I'm wondering if he's working on a 3rd party? The far right would still vote for him. Conservatives and Libertarians as well. He could split moderate Dems as well. The only roadblock would neocon conservatives bringing in a decent candidate, but not sure who that would be and is always the issue with 3rd parties.

Trump isn't a fan of Republicans or Democrats. It would not shock me to see him create a 3rd party. Call it the Freedom Party or some shit like that. I know he really wants to stick it to the Dems, but there are plenty of R's on his shit list. He can fuck them all over with a viable 3rd party. It would make legislating difficult, but Trump has a scorched earth personality and wants to get back at people. A viable 3rd party fucks up a ton of House districts big time. That party then has the leverage to be swayed to vote a certain way on policy and law.

I know the UK is like this, but it might be coming. Trump never has had alliance consistently with one party. Why not just create your own?

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has embraced the growing video sharing platform Rumble and created a channel where he’ll be posting video updates and live streams.

“Gov. Ron DeSantis is a longtime proponent of free speech and has been at the forefront of the effort to demonopolize Big Tech,” Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski said in a statement. “He understands firsthand Americans’ distrust of monolithic tech companies and the danger they pose to free expression and free markets. In fact, YouTube recently removed from its platform a video of the governor and a handful of Ivy League-educated medical experts discussing the downsides of prolonged pandemic-related lockdowns. Rumble, on the other hand, invites robust and civic dialogue on our platform, including Gov. DeSantis’ insights and expertise.”

Shapiro is not a tactics guy, he's an entry into Conservatism guy. Sowell is much better.

Right now, the Tactics Guy is Bannon.

Trumps Two Biggest Mistakes:
1. Not giving Bannon the Chief of Staff post and letting Bannon keep away the RINOs.
2. Not pushing HCQ instead of a vaccine.

Trump underestimated the power of the China-Corporate-Academia-Media combo.

113465   AmericanKulak   2021 Apr 19, 6:54pm

Floridians are all but immune from all civil lawsuits - including from the NGOs/city/county/state - if one has to ram your way out of a Communist Blockade by car during a riot. Lawsuit filers would have to show a court there was no riot or mob activity in the area within 24 hours FIRST in order to proceed.

It increases the penalties for crimes committed during a riot, including misdemeanors, and makes them ineligible for release until they appear before a Magistrate. Which really screws with the CCP/Globalist backed Bailout+Lawfare tactic.

It establishes a minimum sentence of 6 months in jail for any battery committed during a riot.

It criminalizes the destruction of historical buildings and monuments with up to 15 years in prison.

It prevents blue areas from releasing anybody charged with Breaching the Peace, Unlawful Assembly, Assault, or Theft until they come before a Magistrate.

It prohibits blue areas from refusing to protect persons and property - no withdrawing police or allowing "Autonomous Zones" - and makes the municipality subject to lawsuits if they instruct police not to respond to crime or withdraw entirely from the scene of the riot. In other words, home or business owners can sue if the Lefty Mayor tells the City Police to abandon their street to rioters.

I believe you can also shoot rioters engaging in a felony within a hundred feet or so of your business or domicile, also immune from civil lawsuits unless the plaintiff can prove there WASN'T a riot in the area. This gives the Governor more powers over Lefty Gainesville or Tampa or Broward, since if the Gov declares a riot, no court will accept any argument to the contrary from a plaintiff.

Another one:

It creates a new crime—mob intimidation—which is defined as two or more people attempting to use or threatening force "to compel or induce, or attempt to compel or induce another person to do or refrain from doing any act or to assume, abandon, or maintain a particular viewpoint against his or her will," punishable as a first-degree misdemeanor (which entails up to a year in jail and up to a $1,000 fine).

So the crowd forcing people eating in restaurants to make the Black Power Salute or chant Black Lives Matter is now a misdemeanor.

So almost none of the people that died from COVID would have died from any of those other causes?
113469   Shaman   2021 Apr 23, 9:19am

Ok if you’ll notice the total deaths each year are and have been trending upwards. This is entirely predictable as the population is aging and demographics are skewed towards older adults as the Boomers age. Old people gonna cack! It’s what they do. 2020 wasn’t much of an aberration when considered from that standpoint. Deaths were half a million over last year, a 17% increase.

Correct, a lot of drug overdoses (unintentional injuries?) as well. 2020 was a drop in the bucket and hardly an aberration, just a continuing trend. Also the covid-19 deaths are deaths while testing positive, many if not most covid was not the main cause, so pretty much in line with an influenza season. See that little b there? "Deaths with confirmed (= positive bullshit PCR) AND PRESUMED (more BULLSHIT grouping flu, pnemonia and colds into the covid bucket). Conclusion = worthless rubbish.
113471   mell   2021 Apr 23, 9:28am

Any statistics that contain the word "presumed" are rubbish. Math is precise, no room fro "presumptions" or shoddy PCR tests where the infection threshold is completely arbitrary.
113472   🎂 Karloff   2021 Apr 23, 9:35am

Denninger covers this in more detail: https://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=242128

Interesting that last year they were showing nearly 0 flu deaths for almost the entire year, now all of a sudden, here's a big number that's in line with previous years.

Also read carefully footnote b, "Deaths with confirmed or presumed COVID-19". With money being given out to everything covid, I'm sure nobody would classify a death as covid related unless they were absolutely sure.
