He's not as irritating as ApocalypseFucksNow - I think that was his name. Close to that anyhow. From my recollection, he just said random BS, which just perplexed me, there was no possible way to respond.

Sure, I think he's a troll as well, but it's easy not to pay attention to him. You have to deal with the fact that there's always going to be trolls who dishonestly argue, and propagandists, that do the same damned thing. We can't get rid of propagandists - believe me.

Although I am working on a patent that will make them a small minority. It's a difficult problem with regard to storage.

I know us engineers fucked things up, a lot of people are trying to fix it. We're NOT trying to make a dystopia and not all of us are just blindly greedy with no ethics.

Then of course there’s that ever pesky thing about needing to meet the definition of something to be described as such. For instance in the situation of fascism:

Fascists believe that liberal democracy is obsolete and regard the complete mobilization of society under a totalitarian one-party state as necessary to prepare a nation for armed conflict and to respond effectively to economic difficulties.[9] A fascist state is led by a strong leader such as a dictator and a martial law government composed of the members of the governing fascist party to forge national unity and maintain a stable and orderly society.[9] Fascism rejects assertions that violence is automatically negative in nature and views imperialism, political violence and war as means that can achieve national rejuvenation.[10][11] Fascists advocate a mixed economy, with the principal goal of achieving autarky (national economic self-sufficiency) through protectionist and economic interventionist policies.[12] The extreme authoritarianism and nationalism of fascism often manifests a belief in racial "purity" or a "master race", usually synthesized with some variant of racism or bigotry of a demonized other; the idea of "purity" has motivated fascist regimes to commit massacres, forced sterilizations, genocides, mass killings or forced deportations against a perceived other.[13][14][15]

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism

Seeing as President Trump willingly left office after his electoral defeat in 2021, and seeing as facism by definition requires a one party state, it is impossible for any rational person…ie anyone possessing IQ in excess of that of an amoeba…..to conclude that President Trump is a facist, or even exhibits facist tendencies. It would be very rational to conclude that President Trump is the direct opposite of being a facist

Jazz is enjoying the fuck out of this. If he had his way, he would be the principal at a school, and all white students must give him head , and recite the tenants of CRT, before they enter the class

Then he would cap the day off by coming here and calling White people racist.

AF did contribute snark, sometimes hilarious, and never attacked other users personally.

But his talk of raping Trump with barbed wire was too far, even legally hazardous.

The left is intolerant and violent. That's who they are, from start to finish. They decorate their intolerance and violence with pretty slogans and rainbow flags, but they remain intolerant and violent nonetheless.

The right is far more tolerant and peaceful than the left these days. By miles. It's not even close anymore.

All people on the left who retain vestiges of good will are invited to come to peace, acceptance, and toleration by joining the political right. It's time to leave the plantation, as they say.

I'd disagree with that. He introduces establishment talking points that I would otherwise be unaware of, since I ignore, entirely, what our establishment calls "mainstream news" and "credible sources".

He exposes the propaganda that is used. For example this:

We all saw the 9 months of burning, looting and murder and in the second picture, all the smoke is coming from police, it's late in the evening, and the people left there, are basically fucking FIB. There are people, genuinely propagandized enough to believe that January 6th was some sort of insurrection attempt. There's people in prison because our government, FRAMED them.

He reminds people of this, and shows us what kind of (well pathetic) propaganda is used.

No Jazz, you are not in a right mind man. Fascism is when you unleash entire cancel culture on your nation to silence people into obedience. One man (Trump) can't run fascism, he never been, and he has no reason to start being one. But seeing our entire corporate/media/government world throw us into violence and cancel culture with BLM, firings, beatings, burnings and silencing was fascism. I don't need videos when my neighborhood was burned by BLM fucks running around looting and screaming "fuck trump, black lives matter". And I know they were not spontaneous, but well funded organized riots. They were paid to destroy, and they did. DNC's get out and vote drive to silence Americans in cancel culture. You still think there is partisan parties... at the end there is a uniparty that will fucking do whatever it takes to keep people from getting any power. They had no problem shooting and killing people in last election. 2024 we either fight back and defeat that tyranny, or we lose Democracy forever. Letter attached to a candidate is irrelevant really when uniparty fucks and steals our democracy.

It remains absolutely bonkers that anyone thinks the threat in the US is from the right.

THE DAY THE POLICE WERE NO LONGER NEEDED

On August 19, 1966 - Chinese students launched a fight for social justice to fight for the rights of the oppressed in China. It was widely believed that the 'patriarchal system' in China had been created by the 1% and held down women, minorities, and the working class. The students cried out for a revolution and change, and consequentially launched the infamous Chinese Cultural Revolution.

Students put a red band around their arm to stand in solidarity with the oppressed and called for a change on old ideas that they called the FOUR OLDS. The Four Olds were: Old Customs, Old Culture, Old Habits, and Old Ideas.

The movement was supported by the Chinese media.

Mass demonstrations and looting by the students ensued.

Statues were torn down.

Chinese architecture was destroyed.

Classical literature and Chinese paintings were torn apart and burned.

Temples were desecrated.

The Cemetery of Confucius was attacked.

The corpse of the 76th-generation Duke Yansheng was removed from its grave and hung from a tree.

Wealthy homes were attacked and destroyed.

Many families' long-kept genealogy books were burned to ashes.

All of history, in short, was to be removed and replaced. This was the central meaning of Cultural Revolution: That China was going to destroy every trace of its bourgeois (privileged) past and replace it with a new culture built on the principles of Maoism and Marxism.

Communist leaders like President Liu Shaoqi were taken out of power and replaced with men Mao believed were not critical of his reign.

Public leaders who were considered to be oppressive were tried by angry mobs and vigilantes.

Three days later, August 22, 1966, a central directive was issued to stop police intervention. The police were disbanded in the city and the students formed a community solution called the RED GUARD. The RED GUARDS policed the communities and punished anyone who did not agree with their ideas. Even people that supported the movement, but had bad thoughts ("wrong think") could be punished.

Though many Christians supported the movement in the beginning, they quickly became the number one target of the RED GUARDS and public trials were held to condemn them to death.

Many of those that were on board with the cause of the rebellion, in the beginning, saw that it was not really what they had signed up for, but by then it was too late. The power that the Red Guard wanted had already been given.

More people died during the cultural revolution in China than any war, famine, or natural disaster in the history of man. An estimated 20 to 30 million people were killed.

I have not heard of whites leaving areas which become more Asian.

On the contrary, Asians tend to bring lower crime and better schools, so I would think that white people would not leave unless they are actively being discriminated against by Asians.

I live in a silicon valley neighborhood that has had a lot of whites replaced by asians in the past 20 years. Especially these past 5-10 years. A decent chunk of whites who left were old, and either died or moved somewhere for care. I know a 1 (and another I suspect) white who just moved to a cheaper part of CA to retire, cashing out their home. Of course this is a small anecdotal sample size, but I agree w/ Patricks sentiment that whites dont often have something against asian neighbors. I just havent heard people complain about asians, but I have heard people complain about fear of ghetto blacks.

I would guess most of the asians moving in around my street work in tech or health care. That's been the case for the past 4 new neighbors I've talked to.

I do know 1 white who moved as his street turned mostly indian american, but his issue was their constant large parties which caused parking traffic and the pungent smell of their cooking (which multiple neighbors did in their garages converted into kitchens. btw why do they do this?). I dont view that as being anti asian - those are legitimate gripes which bother some people.

edit- I think when a neighborhood gentrifies into a new predominant race, it's often primarily driven by the new race (with exceptions for people fleeing crime). I think this is why you see enclaves like "chinatown", "little vietnam" etc... for example, why do so many indians move to live in fremont? They want to live together, and specifically gravitate towards those neighborhoods when home shopping. I don't see anything wrong with this, but I do find it odd that the same effect is referred to as being "culture preserving" when minorities do it, but "white flight" when whites do it, even if the whites aren't fleeing, but rather the neighborhood is just getting white-diluted by strong demand from a specific minority as typical housing unit turnover naturally progresses over the years.

My neighborhood is pretty mixed, but there are oldsters who are dying or otherwise retiring and moving away. Whoever replaces them has to have some serious cash because prices are running hard over $900k-$1.1 million right now. All the new neighbors are either white or Asian, with occasional mixed race people snagging another house. People want to live here with the blue ribbon schools and low crime and well kept neighborhoods. It was affordable just five years ago… we got in just in time.

More to topic, I’ve noticed that Irvine has gone asian in a big way over the past twenty years. The construction is much newer on average than other cities, the enforcement is rigorous with respect to forcibly relocating transients, and the schools are excellent. These factors attract Asians, who have paid more on average to live in such a place rather than elsewhere, and it seems the attraction grows for Asians the more Asians that live in a place. Asians like to be around other Asians. Maybe it’s because they value low crime and there’s no ethnic group with lower crime. Or maybe such concentrations of a similar culture attract businesses that cater to that culture and it becomes a place where first generation Asians can feel very comfortable?

Either way, it’s definitely not white flight. It’s whites being outbid by Asians, who have higher average incomes. And then Asians liking these types of Asian conclaves and preferring to live there.

I have little against Asians. My wife is half Asian. But even she complains about their driving and it’s annoying how engrossed in the pandemic protocols they can be.

Cost of living is not the only factor. Specially in contra costa county near alameda , I see whites and Asians tend to move towards their majority city.

The purpose of this thread is to suggest “ Not only Asians but Whites also tend to live with whites in white area”.

I like color don’t care neighbourhood the best, But it looks like it is hard to practically achieve truly mixed neighbourhood.. sooner or later it starts to develop into somewhat segregated on racial lines.

Yes it is.

I grew up here in the area. I did not immigrate to here from other crowded places.

I know so many whites (and blacks) who did not immigrate to here, but instead grew up here, who left. Some of those also of Asian heritage, native born Californians as American as me (not Asian immigrants). They share almost nothing with Asian immigrants, except how they look, and their surnames. Those natives of all races who've left, outnumber those of us who stayed.

They left for the more reasonable cost of living, and less crowded conditions. I know, because they told me so.

Compared to the concrete canyons I saw in Asia when I traveled there for work occasionally, the densely crowded-congested, hugely expensive Bay Area and other places they congregate to like Irvine or Vancouver, are like the Wide Open Prairie, at Bargain Prices.

Hmmm I dont think so. I just haven't ever heard of anyone describe a neighborhood as bad unless it really is. Perhaps, to some people, its true that a borderline asian neighborhood is considered marginally more ghetto than a borderline white neighborhood, but I would be surprised if this was a significant difference, and I would imagine it to be a belief held mostly by older people who probably have little recent contact with asians.

I do agree with you that pretty much all cultures have a preference for living together, and yes I think whites generally prefer whites. But I also think whites are generally very comfortable with asians moving in, at least here in the sf bay. Hell, whites are more welcoming to asians than anyone else imo.

I guess me personally, I would prefer to not be the only white person in an asian neighborhood, although I don't think even that would bother me much unless I felt culturally excluded (ie if there were few americanized asians). If I lived in a ghetto, I would prefer a white ghetto, so there wouldnt be an easy visual reason to single me out. But I don't want to live in a ghetto, period.

So far I like the asian increase in my neighborhood, as I feel the people moving in are highly educated high earners, who are likely to improve schools and lower crime.
