I blame NAR.

I noticed that the Bermuda Triangle is on the opposite side of the earth from where the plane disappeared.

So maybe they should be searching near Bermuda.

OMG a whole 12.2 billion in a trillion dollar market. Be still my beating heart.

That's over a thousand 1 million dollar homes. In this current inventory I don't think that's anything to sneeze at.

Yes I understand. According to the NAR foreign buyers are always "about" to flood the market "soon". It's always a great time to buy.

Er, you mean you posted up a picture of a yearbook where somebody had the same name.

That town was too small to believe that. Plus the father looked years younger in the picture, remember? He had his picture and son at congress and he testified? He was at least 15 years younger in the picture.

Good grief. I imagine very many people would age quite a bit after their child's murder, most especially compared to a family portrait that more than likely had its fair share of touch ups done to it. And have you not looked better in some photos than others?

Simply tearing down the houses will not be sufficient. The land must be sold to non-investors, i.e. people interested in building houses on the land to live in themselves. And the land must be sold cheap.

In other words, the real estate speculators still have to take a massive financial loss, and that includes banks that made or bought bad mortgages.

Both the kill and the cure solution require lower prices on the final product: a vacant lot or an unmaintained house.

Any city that thinks it can rehabilitate simply by demolishing is fooling itself and will end up with a lot of littered, dirty lots full of homeless people, drug addicts, prostitutes, and criminals.

Those people in the pic have incredibly clean clothes (bright whites!) for having just been a plane crash. And the guy still has his tie on. Amazing!

There were a lot more questionable things in that show, like how the fat guy can remain fat, etc.

43925   Ceffer   2014 Mar 13, 3:07am

All modesty aside, it was clearly a burka Dutch Oven fart bomb that blew the plane to smithereens.

With the heathen writhing occurring in the cockpit, Allah's rage rose to a rolling boil and he incinerated the pagans and sent his emissary to heaven.

It sure is a tragedy. And it's bound to happen, mechanical failures happen. Especially if airlines are not regulated and monitored. Anyone thinks Malaysian airlines maintain their planes? I doubt they do much.

It's why I prefer cars. If something goes wrong, at least I don't fall out of the sky.

Many people will agree that Obama is not great with respect to his policies or
execution, but at least he is not a ridiculous embarrassment like Dubya (aka
'The Decider').

There is a couple of old saying that come to mind. The first is, "Lead, Follow or get out of the way!" Unfortunately Obama hasn't (and won't) do any of the three. The second saying is, "Do SOMETHING even if it's wrong." Again, the man is hopeless and worthless and as a result pretty much does nothing. GW might have done some things wrong, but at least he was doing something. Given the choice, I'd take GW over BO any day of the week.

There's not the kind of stigma attached to lying in Chinese culture as there is in western cultures. Where as an accusation of lying might be fighting words for a westerner, to a Chinese person it's just like saying the sky is blue. Of course they'll lie if the situation would be smoother or feelings would be kinder toward them! To not lie and idealize the situation would be rude and bad form!
Sounds like AFs buddy wasn't too good about picking that up.

43932   epitaph   2014 Mar 13, 3:27am

Demo work costs money and will only be done if the cost is less than the negative value if the house. I don't see this happening across the spectrum, but for some markets like Detroit it makes sense. The problem is that the people that build value to a neighborhood (the peasants) aren't the ones with the cash on hand to invest in a house (the banks). Until that happens I think blight and degeneration will be trending upwards while the values dip.

The Uighur go-go dancers twerk decapitated the pilot and co-pilot, launching the spurting heads from their butt cleavages down the aisle and causing a panic, which threw the plane into a death spiral.

I can make some pretty decent egg rolls or spring rolls.
egg rolls are just one of those things, that aren't very good frozen, I don't care how great they were before they were frozen. Cabbage is just one of those things that doesn't thaw very well after being frozen.

I get pot stikers, but I avoid the ones that are Vegetable pot stickers as they end the same greasy gooey mess in the center as the frozen egg rolls do.

I get some that look like these at my local Asian market.

They have a mixture of meat, those transparent noodles, and carots and other hardy vegetables other than cabbage.
