His government is not Communist. Not even extreme left. The closest would be fascist (not a swear word, merely a definition in mainstream sense of the word).

Yes. Broadcasting his empty podium instead of Hillary's speech and having more negative stories about her email than about his conflict of interests, tax returns, etc. was unfair. The MSM didn't think he could win, so they treated him like an entertainment story rather than a potential president to vet. He did a good job playing them.

What media were you watching? They printed or cast ten negative stories about Trump to one positive story about Hillary, and only occasionally mentioned her little email scandal in the nicest of ways that made clear she did nothing wrong! If it weren't for alternative news sites, we'd have never seen anything negative about her at all! Hell, a MSNBC reporter was nearly fired for suggesting that she wasn't taking Trump's threat seriously enough and needed to campaign harder!
Quit being completely dishonest. Nobody at all agrees with you that the media favored Trump. It's just the opposite of truth! A big fat LIE! Quit lying Toby.

Do you think a phishing email is not a hack?

Nope, not when you VOLUNTARILY give your password to someone who asks for it... That's just being an idiot.

Idiot is a necessary component for any hack. Be it an idiot user who clicks on links in phishing e-mail and has one simple password for all his accounts, idiot administrator who doesn't patch his system in timely manner and/or doesn't enforce strict security policies, or idiot programmer writing code with more holes than Swiss cheese in it...

Phishing is a hacking technique. There is no point of attempting to redefine the term.

"Did Hilalry sign off a big chunk of our uranium to Russian interests after getting a gazillion dollar to her foundation through Russian interests?"

Let's see. Hillary, the secretaries of Treasury, Justice, Homeland Security, Commerce, Defense, and Energy all signed off on it. As well as the heads of the office of the US Trade Representative and Science and Technology Policy. But, I'm sure she paid them all off. Or maybe they were scared of her hitman. You know, the one that was going to be interviewed on Fox? Oh yeah, he never showed up.

Right wing is more cozy with Putin’s Communist government (extreme left)

Calling Putin's government "left" is really misleading. In social terms, Putin is very much like the American right. Of course, what constitutes left and right varies greatly from country to country. In America guns and Christianity go hand-in-hand. In most Christian nations the opposite is true.

Even in economic terms, calling communism the left is misleading because essentially the economic scale is circular. Take either leftist economics or rightist to the extreme and they become the same thing.

We really need to give up this stupid one-dimensional view of politics anyway. It's not even remotely useful.

Instead, we should be talking about many independent principles and how they are upheld or opposed by different economic systems and governments. That would be actually useful.

They are allowed to avoid paying 7 million in taxes. Do you really care if it is sales tax, income tax, or property tax? Either you are against such race to the bottom tax incentive deals, or you are not.

If Carrier leaves there will be none of those other taxes. Why an internet shopping company should ever get out of collecting and passing along 100% of a state sales tax is a mystery. Why Amazon would need any incentive not to pay a state sales tax is a mystery: They'd pay it if Amazon moved to Mexico or Germany or Canada.

Fascist regimes have charismatic dictators with hyper-masculine personality cults. These regimes generally evince a hyper-nationalist ethos, a cult of violence, mass mobilization of youth, high levels of repression, powerful propaganda machines and imperialist projects. Fascist regimes are hugely popular—usually because the charismatic leader appeals to broad sectors of the population.

Limp wristed Techno-Bankster globalist regimes are dominated by Matriarchs who love money and war. Like Pelosi, Boxer, Feinstein, Hillary, Powers, etc.

• Few years ago , the slogan for Republicans was “They hate us for our freedom” and lets spread freedom even if takes war (remember Iraq) . Now the same republican candidate is the source of inspiration for China and Russia who are telling their citizens “Look if we have election, we could elect a Trumpisque candidate. Therefore we are better off with a stable communist party”

Now, why do you think that might possibly be?

Is it because the people who voted Republican were the ones whose kids (or themselves) went to these wars?

It sure ain't West Coast Silly Con Valley Techies or East Egg Banksters sending their offspring to the MENA to fight in the infantry.

Maybe the invade-invite/waste-n-welcome idea of bombing the shit out of people with no clear endgame, then having them move in next door with the government's assistance, isn't the best idea.

Maybe they saw the disconnect between the GOPe immigration talk and their actual votes on immigration issues.

No they wouldn't. The only businesses that have to collect state sales tax (paid by customers) are businesses that have a presence in the state. Mail order or internet businesses without an operations base in the state do not have to collect tax for sales in that state. I'm guessing that Amazon said that they would only build a warehouse in Utah if they got a break on customer's sales taxes. Pretty much every company gets a break on taxes when negotiating with states to decide where to build a new facility.

YesYNot says

Why are you against a sweetheart deal here, but all for Trump's Carrier sweetheart deal where the company gets to avoid paying the standard tax?

I don't like the race to the bottom. It's happening, because localities are desperate for business, so they give away too much to get a few jobs. Carrier was just more of the same deal. I expect it won't last though, as it was a political stunt, and the threat of losing unrelated business with the US gov was a driver. Once the political spotlight is gone, they will move the plant. But that's another story.

78059   FNWGMOBDVZXDNW   2016 Dec 13, 8:26pm

It's a classic prisoners dilemma. If all states refused to give such deals, they would be better off. Once they all start competing, they get less overall despite getting more on a particular deal.

Just out of curiosity, how young are you ?

As I said, but I know you can't get this:

the right wing media doesn't even bother arguing against socialism anymore. In fact they like Bernie for his ability to split the democratic party. They knew all along that Hillary was who they were up against.

Socialism is so far from winning (and was this cycle) that it's not even on the right wing's list of top 3 things to worry about. To you that means it (socialism) and he (Bernie) could win. It will win eventually, and right before then you will find out what the plutocrats do when socialism is close to winning (unlike Bernie was).

Putin’s Communist government (extreme left)

Why do you claim that Putin's government is Communist? Putin's party is the United Russia party, the ruling party in Russia which holds a majority of seats in the Duma.

"Although the United Russia Party's popularity has declined from its peak of 64.4% in the 2007 Duma elections to 49.32% in the 2011 elections, United Russia remains the most popular party in the country, ahead of the second-placed Communist Party at 19.19%."

Socialism is so far from winning

What does that have to do with Bernie? He ran on a platform to replace the heinously inefficient Lemon Socialism that we suffer through currently, with Democratic Socialism.

Pretty much all his planks are wildly popular, just like he is. A Dem jew one man wrecking crew from deep red Vermont, with his 85% favorable rating while being a sitting Senator in a Senate with an 11% approval rating.

The enthusiasm for Bernie was off the charts, and with good reason. He would have molly wopped Trump

"United Russia
The party of Vladimir Putin and Dmitry Medvedev. This conservative and nationalist party, founded in 2001, is the largest in Russia with more than 2 million members. It holds an overwhelming majority of seats in both the Duma and regional parliaments, as well as committee chairmanships and posts on the Duma's steering committee. It claims to hold the centrist mantle as its platform includes both free markets and redistribution of some wealth. The party of power is often seen as operating with a main goal of keeping its leaders in power.

The party advocates political and socio-economic stability and the revival of Russia's status as a superpower. It describes itself as centrist and conservative, basing its ideology on traditional Russian values and the notion of Russia's unique identity.
