Wyoming has 600,000 people and two Senators.
Suffolk County, NY (Eastern LI) has 2 Million people and shares 2 Senators with the other ~18M New York State Residents.
Think about this: There is a Senator for every 300,000 Wyoming residents, but only one Senator for every 10M New York Residents.
The whole of Wyoming has many, many times the voting power of Suffolk County despite having less than 1/3 the residents.
And the Constitution would have never been ratified without this discrepancy.
Seems to me this is the most undemocratic aspect of our Constitution right now.
Look the loser Hillary looks like a whole different character than the lying sack of shit Hillary as a candidate.
"Individual votes don't count if they're illegal aliens."
Yep. And recounts in Nevada, Michigan, and everywhere else they've ever done them has found ZERO evidence of any measureable amount of illegal alien voting. But, in Florida, North Carolina, et. al, they've found huge issues with voters illegally purged from the registered voting rolls.
If you want to point at voter fraud, you should be point at Republicans.
Nevada - there's no way to verify because they don't check for ID at the polling booth.
It's like a security guard saying "only employees are in the building."
"How do you know?"
"Because this is the only way in."
"Did you check and record the Badges they had?"
"We don't check IDs, we take people at their word."
31 States also don't check.
Funny because to get your Soc Sec report you have to show ID. Apparently it's okay to exercise the vote and pick the leadership of the country without doing so in most of the states.
PS You don't need to drive to get an ID. And ID cards aren't prohibitively expensive. $10 in Nevada for an under 18 ID, $22 for an over 18 ID. Same people who claim poverty just came back from the liquor store with a bottle of Hennessy
PPS Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands --- all require ID to vote.
No.
You are, via trump and your tax dollars...
"Not commonplace affordable immediate technology"
haha. But you're going to put iris scanning in every polling place in the US?
Why bring jazz into the conversation???
ame people who claim poverty just came back from the liquor store with a bottle of Hennessy
I used Uber recently. The driver was from the '60's. We talked about Dead shows and similar era music. I was able to track the driver's progress. I would use Uber again.
my experience is that I always seem to pay 30-40% less with ub
Definitely 50% cheaper to airport in Atlanta from Decatur downtown. Cab with tip: 75 bucks Uber: 29-32 bucks
Actually the scroll above has some truths to it.
If you sum of the rules of Alinsky, it would be "pick a fight on everything", "dont work with other to solve problems", "cast blame around as broadly as possible", "and dont love your neighbors". In essense dont work in good faith with anyone.
Jesus told us to "Love our neighbors". Whilst this be a quote from a great religious figure, I would hope even avowed atheists could get behind constructive problem solving and trying to fix things rather than break them, and get along in our societies.
So the reason why Hillary lost the election: Her Bachelors thesis on Alinsky contributed to her entire persona. That was the wrong guy for solving problems, it was the wrong guy for Chicago.

Uber is a typical FUCK! EVERYONE! IN! THE! ASS! Silicon Valley race to dump the lie on the ASSHOLES! at the IPO
When you say it, it sounds much cooler; ThomasWong1986 used to say the same thing, albeit not specifically about uber.

Take a cab and encourage the driver to flip the bird at Uber drivers with you while shouting "Travis sucks my dick! Hey!"
Yes Travis is much worse than the russian mobsters who bought most of the medallions in NYC with ill-gotten cash.
"No. You are, via trump and your tax dollars..."
I think you meant "we are" and "our tax dollars"
"Nevada - there's no way to verify because they don't check for ID at the polling booth"
And.... that's BS. They typically ask for an ID and always ask for a signature. A signature is good enough to prove ID for legal papers, credit cards, checks, etc.
I guess a signature is not good enough to prove ID to vote though?

JJJ: No ID, picture or non-picture ID, is required to vote in Nevada. If you know they are asking people, it ought to be reported to the state because it's not legal.

"I'm all for voter ID, but it has to be done Legally."

It's done. But you didn't address the main point. Why doesn't a signature suffice as an ID?

If you've ever bought a car or a house (which I doubt) you'd know that getting a loan for either requires you prove your identity usually with a state issued ID or a passport. Signatures are just a way to certify agreement of the details of a contract. They've never been a form of ID, too easy to fake!
, North Carolina, et. al, they've found huge issues with voters illegally purged from the registered voting rolls
You mean like the Democrats did to Brooklyn voters right before the New York primary? And the media reporting a Clinton win before California primary voting day to discourage Bernie voters from voting? For every sketchy Republican voter tactic I'll give you two outright frauds committed by Democrats, usually against their own.
Get off the plantation, joey! You're a good House ( )igger and all, but yo' massah don't appreciate you!
No, I meant "you".
I picked that up from your original comment below. See what you started?
"No. You are, via trump and your tax dollars..."

If you have to ask this question, you don't deserve an answer...
But you didn't address the main point. Why doesn't a signature suffice as an ID?

How do you know who is signing it? Since you neither need to show picture or non-picture ID, what do they have to compare it to?
Maybe if you sign your DMV forms, you don't need to carry your driver's license. If you sign your employee form, why do you need to show a badge? They can just ask you to sign!
Let's do this at the TSA Check-in. "I don't have picture ID, but I can sign something."

Yep--exactly like that. It was wrong when it happened in the NY primary and it's doubly wrong when it happens in NC and FA during a Presidential election. How about we both agree that this practice sucks and keep it from happening again? And admit that it's a much bigger problem than supposed illegals voting.
As to the media--I think the opposite is true. Reporting a Clinton win will keep lazy Clinton voters at home because they think she doesn't really need their vote.
Hey JJJ, should we allow signatures for buying beer and cigarettes?
"Sure, I'm 21 Mistah. Lookee, I can sign my very own name"
"Good enough for me, young fellah. We take people at their word here. After all, this ain't Putler Land, but 'Murica, the good ol' US of A. Eat your oatmeal and avoid diabeetus."
Are you required to show the id every time you make a payment?
False analogy! The bank doesn't care who makes the payment as long as they get paid!
Using your vote is more like using your bank account. It's a right that belongs to you and nobody else with your voter Registration. If someone else accesses your bank account and withdraws your money you'd said fraud! Same when someone uses your vote.
Honestly this is such a DUH issue I'm amazed you butt holes have the stones to present such a lame argument! But then I've heard that Leftist thought causes brain damage.
"Individual votes don't count if they're illegal aliens."

Do a recount in California.
We require gov't ID to drive, buy alcohol, enter a bar/casino, etc., but not to vote? Anyone who argues against that is fucking retarded. It makes me embarrassed to be human.
The concept of the electoral college is a check and balance to protect against one way of retarded groupthink dominating the country. A great example of this is California, where so many residents are brainwashed into certain Leftist thinking that makes no sense as CA tries to build a dependent, socialist society. Lazy humans will take the easy way out and will vote Left to ensure their welfare lifestyle continues, and upper class liberals will vote Left out of media-imposed guilt and trendiness. As more residents move to California, more and more people are infected with this brainwashing thereby yielding more popular votes in favor of such ridiculousness.
A true democracy doesn't exist for this very reason. Humans are insecure and needy by nature, which means they will attach themselves to what's popular in their particular circles as well as to what politically and financially serves them, vs having the courage to assess issues or candidates objectively on their merits as to what's right for the country.
If we get rid of the electoral college, we'd have to get rid of the way we have the Senate and the House because both houses are built on the same concept of keeping highly populous states and municipalities from overrunning the rest with potentially harmful ideas such as CA hating and voting to tax coal, or Ohio hating and voting to tax entertainment, or Oregon hating and voting to tax oil, or New York hating and voting to tax tech companies.
So are you saying we need to redo the way the House and Senate are structured? Based on your thesis, we should do a "Prop" system (i.e., popular vote) for all federal laws, vs the representation model.
IHL TSA Beast, fingering third world gumma with used glove and getting squirt of gushing, stinky yellow pus in eye: Priceless!
The TSA is selling the IHL gloves with the best bouquet on the open market in chilled containers with small electric bulbs to heat them again to optimal fragrance, a cigar and cognac. Shameless.
This pussy grabbing is getting out of hand. Or in hand. I'm confused.
"Despite the incident, the students from Center High School went on to win the game, 66-62"
Thank goodness. That must have been extremely satisfying.
Where are the media stories about MTV "News" running a segment telling White Guys What Resolutions to make for New Year's?
That wasn't a few guys at one schools' ballgame, but a national cable channel that primarily focuses on 12-14 year olds.
The OP isn't fake news but it's a great example of the media covering a few white rascists, but completely ignoring anti-white racism and misandry aimed at children on a major network that is utterly explicitly racist.
There was plenty of racism, mostly among the left. A little on the right, I agree. The nutty "entryist" plot of Stormfags, NeoReax, and the hard right of the alt-right went down in flames within hours of the election. Spencer only got 200 attendees despite the alt-right being a subject of big news coverage these past few months, and many of those were media.
There are fewer people in White Supremacist groups than in the Church of Satan.
There was also plenty of classism by professionals and elites against the (white) working class.
Finally, millions of whites that turned out for Obama stayed home or voted for Trump. How does the Media and Shitty Candidate Apologists explain that away by racism.
Man, bib overalls are really all the rage there right ?
Nevermind - I guess it was "farmer night" that they were dressed up for.
They do the same thing to white teams.
The Warrensburg district's superintendent Scott Patrick said in an interview with the Star that the tradition of the student section turning its back on the opposing team is a longstanding one, but that this incident was different.
This incident was different only because the legacy press is so hungry for self-justification in the face of defeat.
This incident was different only because the legacy press is so hungry for self-justification in the face of defeat.
Or maybe something about the Trump sign being held up, against an all black team, given that White supremacists, KKK etc, backed Trump. This is more than a month after the election, so what is the Trump sign supposed to mean ?
Please explain it to us Patrick.
