Um yeah, right... No, "Liberal" became a dirty word when Liberals allowed Ronnie Raygun to creatively define what "Liberal" meant with vapid Republican propaganda. Since then conservatives have been fighting a caricatured "Liberal" straw man. Sorry, you conservos don't get to define Liberalism. We Liberals get to define Liberalism for ourselves. You can try to confuse the general public with your rhetoric, propaganda, and other BS, but you can't confuse we Liberals. We know what we stand for and why. Do you?

And therein lies the rub. Someone I've never met believes that he knows more than I do about my belief system. Sometimes I disagree with our President, sometimes I vehemently disagree with our President, and sometimes I agree with him. I have many facets to my being, and it bothers me that people make judgements about how I must feel on issues.
Only a simple minded person would label another and attempt to tell them what their views must be. It's sad that it's come to this, but indicative of what's happening in our country as a whole. I have a mind of my own and am confident that I can think for myself.

I can only conclude that you are either arguing with yourself, with Simchaland, or are simply babling. Look, it's a nice speech, but it loses its effect when you are talking to yourself.

With just days before President B.O.'s proposed "bi-partisan" health-care summit, the White House released a new blueprint that the Democrats say they will ram through Congress...with or without Republican support.
So after election defeats in Virginia, N.J., and even Massachusetts, and amid overwhelming public opposition, Democrats have decided to give the voters what they don't want anyway.
The "Presidents Proposal" manages to take the worst of both the House and Senate bills and combine them into something even more destructive. It includes more taxes, more subsidies and even less cost control that the Senate bill. And it purports to fix the special-interest favors in the Senate bill...not by eliminating them - but by expanding them to everyone.
One final insult, neither The President, his family, nor anyone in Congress is subject to the health-care provisions they say are good enough for us.
