I never believed for a second that a couple pet projects and some paved roads were going to right the ship. I don't think we're there yet. Maybe 10 years. However, I am surprised to see the cost of rent rising, even as the cost of borrowing for a mortgage is going lower (today's CPI index). Maybe because people who would normally be entering the housing market right now are spooked away from it?
