Surfer-x, RandyH, DinOR, Peter P, HARM and others... Are they still lurking here? Have they changed identities? or have they moved on? I've just got to know..

more interested in some of the old school like Bearmarket and On the Sidelines , bearkmarket in particular. His posts were quite funny. Wonder how he turned out?

Ahh yes, the circle of life.

Some stay
Some go
Some stop in once in a while
Others just fade away.

It happens.

Greatful for it too. I'm sure 5 years of Bearmarket would be too much for many of us. Just remember his lesson: Don't ask the interbutts what they think of you, 'cause they will tell you. Oh, yeah and wtf do you care what the interbutts think anyway? Glass houses and all. . .

Some change their identity so that they can once again have their trollish obnoxiousness read for a while before their new incarnation is added to everyone's ignore list.

eg. Shrek, Mr. Fantastic, etc...

Some of them, like OTS and rayray were truly offensive and possessed absolutely no redeeming qualities. They were offensive and mean and I'm glad they're gone. Every now & then rayray had something to contribute - but his message was lost in his racist and nasty rhetoric.

Bearmarket was different. He did present a certain entertainment value - but we were laughing at him, not with him. He seemed to be in the intellectually superior category, but lacked communication and people skills. It would be interesting to find out where he was. Even tho some people on the interwebs are hiding behind a self-created persona, I truly believe that he existed in the form he presented to us. No one would want to make that shit up.

I do wonder about bearmarket... I wonder if his internet biz ever happened - and if he was riding his bike in Pennsylvannia. That shit about zerosexuality was just plain weird.

They are gone I guess... :-(

Some of the ones you want to stay leave...
and some of the ones you want to leave stay...

Oh, I have no problem with bearmarket being gone - but I do have a touch of sentimentality for him. His wierdness doesn't show up anywhere else on the interwebs if you search zerosexuality - I'm thinking he got laid.

"but lacked communication and people skills"

As if you've mastered this set of skills. Your posts do little more than agree with the most assholish posts that appear on these forums.

I don’t think RayRay was racist; he was just a jerk-off.
OTS on the other hand was a straight-up white supremacist.

"he was just a jerk-off"

And you're not? The only difference between the jerk-offs that left and the ones that are still here is that you're a persistent jerk-off.

You attempt to demean me by intimating that I lack communication & people skills - and yet you've obviously read most, if not all, of my posts. I shall therefore count you among one of my many fans (and I thank you for being so avid a reader).

I've always been true to my views, whether or not they agreed with other people. For example, in this thread I disagree with your view of me as lacking the ability to voice my own opinions.

Also, might I point out that agreeing and/or disagreeing with others has nothing to do with either people and communication skills? I'm able to effectively communicate my point of view without attacking other people and resorting to calling their posts, among other things, "assholish."

Peter P bought a house. Which made this site seem less interesting to him, I'm sure.

@Patrick

Thanks for the update!

I think DinOR (or someone with the same screen name) still posts in the Portland Housing blog.
