Realtors out here often run around with millions in their pockets..
Food for thought...Al Cabone ran around with millions in his pocket until the IRS nailed him.
Licensed Realtors. What a joke. Maybe they should license garbage collectors.
I wonder what it would cost to get my RE license? It might be interesting to do.
All realtors are crooked.
Some might think this is hyperbole, but realtors and used car salesmen are about on equal footing when it comes to trustworthiness. The money is bigger in real estate so of course you get much more skilled liars in that market.
Kinda like pilots and bus drivers :)

We actually need garbage collectors. Don't disparage them by making the comparison to realtors.

In Virginia, it costs next to nothing. A couple hundred dollars. But if you actually want to work for a broker (make use of your license), good luck finding one that's not a realtor, and thus allowed to ONLY hire you as an agent if you are a realtor as well. That costs about $2500/year here. I gave it a shot until I realized what a fucked up scam it is. "Beat them or join them," but I'm not going to pay that much money to an organization that I want wiped from the face of the Earth. It's a rigged game any way you look at it.
It would be easier if all Realtors were placed under arrest.
None of them are innocent.
They could haggle with the judge over the appropriate punishment. Guys like this, yeah, toss ‘em from a helicopter 12 miles out at sea. The ‘there’s never been a time to buy’ slack jawed hyenas, meh, kick them unconscience and throw them in stocks in front of one of the foreclosures they fomented by shoving a braindead twit in front of a scanky mortgage broker and taught him how to lie on an application form.
High value skanks, stuff them into a foreclosure, nail the doors and windows shut and light it up.
I know you joke a lot about apocalyptic scenarios. But I live in Woodland Hills and I'm actually scared. Everyone out here is buying guns. 3 cops have been shot in the past month. One today around El Camino High. This is not easy.
Hey - I like my garbage collector!
I actually don't like mine. They come on Wednesday and Thursday, hardly convenient. They stop in the middle of the street so it's hard/impossible to get around them. If they don't throw my trash can in the middle of the driveway, they'll throw it down the street. Twice I've come home and it was gone. Neither time I've had to buy a new one because a neighbor's can ends up in my yard.
That said, they could take the trash, dump it on my lawn every week, and I'd still think higher of them than a realtor.

This is on the front page of patrick.net already. Would be nice if such investigations were more prevalent in California. (Many) Realtors out here often run around with millions in their pockets, and I'm pretty sure it is safe to assume that it's not because they are so good at doing their job... but just like these guys found a way to swindle money away.
