According to police, Leiseth invited one of the two male high school seniors over to her house in Moon Township, Pa. on the last day of school. She gave him a beer. They had sex. The very next day, police say, the second student went to went to her home. There was more sex and some more beer. Prior to all the excitement, Leiseth had of course sent the two students nude photos of herself. Under Pennsylvania law, Leiseth seems to have jumped the gun on the deadline for teacher-student sex by just a few days. She now faces charges...

Great! You can invent one.

When will we see the first robotic gold digger?

Well shit, if a few single digit percentage point of all the plumbers are women, there's no problem.

I'll remember that when women's studies nuts complain that only about 1/3 of corporate officers are women.

Don't forget, a lot of firms are really male-run, and they use their wives, daughters, mothers, etc. to get minority contracts.

Lead role? It says she worked as an assistant engineer and her main job was streamlining the assembly line. Anyway I already said there will always be exceptions. This woman was also fired from her last engineering job BTW.

Everyone reading this knows that inferior people get promoted while superior people get fired.

See how you contradict yourself?

A predatory woman whose only skill is to lay on her back and get knocked up by a rich dude is not a role model or a victim.

Agree with almost everything else said in your post, except for this one. Such a woman is a far better case than the far more numerous and far more devastating cases of women getting knocked up by pants-dragging knuckle-walkers then have to live off taxpayers and raise the kids on TV and high-fructose corn syrup.

Everyone is capable of learning if they apply themselves and are interested in subjects so there's no need to design society around gender segregation roles. Societies where main function of women is to serve as baby making factories where women are not allowed to work and are only supposed to be handling making kids/do household chores have failed to achieve the progress of western europe and united states because they crush spirit and don't develop/make full use of human potential. Part of the reason why latino families struggle financially in united states is because amongst immigrants that werent born here men are still expected to be breadwinners while woman is supposed to be babymaker/homemaker - this is part of what they call machismo. But it's changing among those who are first generation and go on to college so I expect that they will "assimilate" within a 2 generations or so.

In general, groups with flexible belief systems tend to do better.

I think those who do well tend to have productive relationships with their beliefs/meta-beliefs. It may explain why Reform Jews and Calvinists tend to be quite successful.

In your humble opinion, are Central American(predominantly Mexican) illegal immigrants pushing education in the household in the same way that East Asian, South Asian and African immigrants (both legal and illegal) are?

Education cannot replace the will to succeed.

Tiger parents may be putting their kids in the "best" school districts. In the end, they are just priming the next generation for a glorified mediocre life.

No, jews/indian/chinese/japanese/korean households tend to have more of a top down structure where parents guilt and shame their offsprings into reading and getting good grades utilizing methods such as direct insults and social comparison to other families "they know." Despite the fact that they love the riches that america provides their childrearing tactics are extremely authoritarian and un-american. Jews/chinese particularly are often referred to as "people of the book" and hence this "infrastructure" goes back hundreds of years. Additionally many of the immigrants from those societies tend to be well off, the ones that don't do well tend to stay back home.

Latinos on the other hand - the well off don't want to immigrate to the states - their are very happy over there and their standard of living would actually go down if they came to united states as well as social prestige. The ones that tend to arrive - if they happen to have some affluence they typically do emphasize education but not in a tyrannical manner. However, the first generation kids that do succeed often have to be self driven as opposed to the other groups that I described who often succeed just to please the parents and avoid the punishment. In my eyes, the success that comes from free will is more impressive than someone who succeeds at the point of the belt....

At any rate, I have noticed that latinos that do go on to college tend to follow the "white" path by delaying marriage and having children. They are also not too fond of stereoptypical gender expectations that their parents subscribe to. Therefore, my belief is that they will acculturate/assimilate in fairly short order.

WOMEN ARE HORRIBLE SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS.

men make decisions based on math, facts, and objective judgment.

women make decisions based on clothes, their current hormonal state, and I don't know- the phases of the moon? (who the fuck really knows)

point being- Women are not suitable for the scientific professions. For as long as we continue to harbor these acidic notions of equality our municipal systems will be utterly impotent.

FACT- you can track the output of practically any project or company, the moment women arrive and demand positions productivity, profits, and sanity take a nosedive. There was a very good reason why women were not allowed on trading ships during the late middle ages. They naturally tend to manipulate people into doing things and never produce anything. ASMOF, they usually refuse to work with each other! A women will typically prefer to work with other men because she knows she will do practically nothing while she manipulates the men into doing all the work for her.

Quebec is faraway. Never been there even though I spent time in Toronto as a child. Bring them to Vegas. "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" :)

72   The Original Bankster   2014 Jul 14, 8:07am

Women are biologically designed to be parasitic. This is how they get men to support them so they can create children. I suppose this has some sort of higher value- if you view population as being the greatest good. It is in their very nature to manipulate men into doing their bidding, paying for their crap, paying for their children(even if theyre not the mans), just look at ANY divorce case. But men have a chemical biological blinder on that makes it impossible for them to see this. They have this image of beautify and perfection that they see when they look upon a member of the opposite. Typically this image wears off by middle-age and women are aware of this as well, thats why they spend their 20s and 30s getting men to agree to financial and legal liabilities that essentially get them into a trap for life. Society and the state are in full support of this program.

Oh ... how wrong you are. Vegas is symbolic of the nouveau riche mentality, a lot of cash burned but for ordinary services, just to be in some gaudy hotels in the middle of an over-lit desert wasteland.

Montreal QC is the best kept open secret of the northeast. If you spend similar amounts of cash (and of course you do your homework a little bit), the quality of fun will be a lot more and you get all the enmities of a low crime, first world city.

And they have a casino, if you're a gamer.

74   The Original Bankster   2014 Jul 14, 8:35am

actually Vegas is an excellent bargain if you just want the basics.

you could rent a house and eat out every night in Vegas for about $1500/month.

Montreal and Quebec are fairly nice outposts of French culture in the the Americas.

As long as the basics include staying indoors 4 months a year. I like vegas I've spent a lot of time there, but I could never live in the low desert heat. Reno on the other hand rocks. Much more reasonable weather, much smaller more manegeble city , and you have the sierra mountains/lake tahoe literally in the back yard.

The same applies to QC. I really prefer the much smaller Quebec City to Montreal for my dose of north american style french culture. Unfortunately my learned mostly in bars after lots of drinking complete with that horrible languedoc/ camargue accent (the one where you add an emphasized g to the end of every word that ends in n "à demang" "quatre-vang" "vang rouge") 4th grade french is pretty much a foreign language in QC. They speak a very very different version of french.

The arrangement is fine... It's not that my husband cannot do these things if he puts his mind to it... He just isn't around enough. I am very lucky. He does his share of whatever needs to be done -- when he can.

That's just the opposite in my house. If something is broken, it was probably caused by mom :)

I was always pretty good at puzzles. I like figuring things out. And throw on top the fact that for several years I was hiding an extra pet from the landlord. So, my choices were to fix it myself, live with it broken, or get caught having two cats when I was only allowed one (not my fault... it was a stray that showed up on my balcony with a broken leg. After I fixed him, I couldn't give him up.)

Don't you mean "a" Renaissance man? Reality is certain he's a "member of the tribe" so unless you choose the appropriate article he'll have to start calling you a fascist along with the rest of the human race.

I'm from the school of thought that the Renaissance man concept of prior centuries, like Johann Goethe, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, etc, died off during the postwar era where a man's life's purpose was to be, little more than a worker bee producing 2.x children to continue the society.

So by me, resurrecting the concept as the modern Renaissance man, then as others follow suit, I can merely decrement my level to just another Renaissance man.
