This is interesting-if what I am reading is true-these are during the Obama years-when manafort was working with the podesta group. If he starts singing on the Podestas-who also registered late on their foreign transactions-interesting times.
Who was Manafort working with during those years? The Podesta Brothers.
Why did he feel like he needed to lie? What is he hiding? Is he going to cut a deal?

A federal grand jury in Washington on Friday approved the first charges in the investigation led by special counsel Robert Mueller into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, a source briefed on the matter told Reuters.
The filing of the sealed charges was first reported by CNN.
The charges are sealed under orders from a federal judge, and it was not clear what the charges were, adding that anyone facing charges could be taken into custody as soon as Monday.
