Why is it difficult for leftists to make points w/o attacking others?

My theory is that superiority is built into the identity of the left.

Accusing others of being child killers for disagreeing about gun rights -OR- suggesting disagreement can only stem from ignorance or racism or both. This form of bigotry is so deeply rooted into the psyche of the left that it becomes almost impossible to discuss a political topic w/o letting these direct personal attacks slip.

Our forum has become an interesting case study in the leftists psychology. It is the product of $billions worth of propaganda blasting soft minds with news, and nonstop Hollywood bigotry against wrongthink. The Nazi's would be jealous of the righteousness seen in today's left, and even more jealous of the glee with which the left today enacts its fascist, anti-wrongthink agenda

Trump definitely appealed to the racist portion of the population.

How? Trump is saying he wants MAGA for all americans. He has never put forth one group identity over another. He has certainly never said that groups of Americans are deplorable. ALL OF THAT BIGOTRY is coming from the left today. I would suggest this as evidence that the left is appealing to the racist portion of the population, who are projecting their own sins onto Trump supporters.

Peeples too stoopid to rule themselves. Only a US exploitative corporatocracy is a viable solution. We must exploit the lessers before China does. Soon we will legalize fatty hunting.

Of course the left is heavily reliant on personal attacks. Identity politics at its CORE is a demonization game.

"All trump supporters are racist nazis"

"Anyone who doesn't agree with me is a racist!"

"Black people should get affirmative action spots at top universities despite lower scores because whites are privileged!"

All personal attacks, and getting people to hate each other based on mistruths and lies.

How do you define “the left”?

Who are your talking about, specifically?

Or is the term intentionally vague, in order to cover a broad range of the boogeyman enemy you’re programmed to hate?

Trump says many things besides MAGA for all Americans.

He has absolutely put one group identity over another. He just does it subtlety enough that folks like you can deny it. That's why it's called a dog whistle. Hell, his staff flashes white power symbols in photo ops. Just like how his supporters on here have adopted the new way to call African Americans "thugs". How many videos of minorities fighting have been posted on here vs. videos of white folks? Why do you suppose that is?

I'd suggest Trump supporters are just trying to muddy the water to confuse folks and hide the truth.

Why do non leftists use different terms to describe their enemies?

Liberals
Leftists
Democrats

Imo, if one is talking about Democrats, they’d be better served to refer to them as such

Not allowed to talk about obvious truths here

Remember, racism doesn’t even exist anymore
But if it did exist, it would only be the leftists

Leftist are Democrats, and Democrats are Leftist.

I never use "liberal" because very few Democrats are true "liberals" in the John Locke sense.

The article I read didnt mention that part. The article I read gave few relevant facts (which is why i didnt post it) besides her trespassing charge, which the OP didnt mention at all.

Why was I made fun of for posting an old article that proved the charges were dropped?

Because you wrote "Two weeks ago..." about a 2 year old article. I'm trying to get the facts straight. Stick w the discussion. Oh, and stop trolling

It's funny because all the attacks we see from the right is all ad hominem: see the attacks on Clinton "globalist queen", Warren "Pocahontas" think she has indian blood, etc...
Any discussion on global warming soon turn into attacks on Al Gore.
Or general attacks like people on the left are all crazy, mentally ill, perverts, etc....

We rarely see any discussions of actual issues.

Show me Republican politicians who call the left some form of deplorable.

Thats the most easily notable distinction. - OR - Show me where the right is accusing the left of having "blood on their hands" for disagreeing about gun control. -OR- show me business leaders on the right who wont hire democratic voters. -OR- Wont do business w democratic voters. -OR show me where the right is oppressing the careers of those on the left?

All of this bigotry is coming from the left. This is almost identical to the type of bigotry witnessed in 1930's germany. Replace white male conservative w Jew and you wouldnt be able to tell the difference between Nazi's and today's left.

SHOW ME anywhere, one single data point where the right is oppressing the left in the same way.

There is a direct correlation between legal gun ownership rates and lower murder rates (and lower violent crime rates in general). You should rethink your false premises.

Fact: If you simply banned gun ownership to leftist/democrats, the U.S gun homicide rate would be comparable to the UK or Australia per capita.

Are you saying it isn't true? Ask the murderers in Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, and DC who they wanted to be president. Over 90% of them would say HRC.

Facts matter. It is the D supporters who kill each other, not Trumps

Nice find. This guy is obviously being using inciting language in an op-ed about a politically targeted murder. I disagree w his level of vitriol. However a 5 cop ambush murder is indeedtime for the left to admit and finger wag at the underlying motivating movements. Black lives matter is statistically more violent than the KKK. Fact.

Again this is fundamentally different than accusing gun rights proponents of having blood on their hands, or accusing Trump supporters of being racist (and therefore worthy of violent response).

This is sadly true. I’m a member of a FB group that’s mostly white Jews. Leftists nearly all of them. I really have to watch what I say... I mentioned that I liked Jordan Peterson’s philosophy, and got dog piled because apparently they all thought he was an asshole and a bigot and possibly a Nazi, definitely alt right. I retorted that Peterson is a classical Liberal, as defined in any text book. I was told he hates Jews and why would I like someone who hates Jews? I asked for references, and provided one of my own (a video of Peterson remarking on how most of his friends are Jews and he admires the Jewish people). I was told that this is a dog whistle to say that Jews are an evil cabal of selfish influencers. At that point I just gave up. There are none so blind as those who refuse to see.

Not very many, also, it's not about who is in the city, it's about who is committing the crimes.

We know the general demographic of those committing violent crime in those cities:

- black
- male
- under 25

Does that fit the typical GOP voter profile?

"A fact is a statement that can be proven true or false. An opinion is an expression of a person's feelings that cannot be proven. Opinions can be based on facts or emotions and sometimes they are meant to deliberately mislead others."

"What one thinks" is irelevent, it is opinion. Facts require proof without proof it's just an opinion.

Fact. 88% of african americans voted for HRC. Fact. Low income African Americans voted for HRC at a higher rate than educated african americans. Fact 95% of shootings in Chicago are perpetrated by African Americans, from under-educated ghettos. Fact. This trend in African American communities is nation wide. Fact. Some cities are worse than others, but the predominant indicating factor for murder per capita is the % of poor african americans in that community.

This is FAR easier to "prove" w available facts than white privilege, the gender wage gap, the college rape culture, or any number of leftist talking points.

Fact. It is an obvious suggestion that most murders are committed by HRC supporters, not Trump supporters. No way you can suggest this isn't true.
