Rescued Latinos from Leftist Thug nations are the most loyal Republican voters there is.

I do know if there was a consorted effort to do just that. The Democrats would have a measure on the floor making it illegal to stack districts with political leaning refugees. They would also get on board with the wall and Emigration reform.

Also, my point above wasn't to argue that voter ID is racist. I was questioning the point of the cartoon. Mexico having voter ID would be just as likely to convince me that voter ID is racist as that it isn't.

If voter ID is "racist" and I use the term the way it's meant in this context, it would be mostly in the short run, becasue in the short run, especially in districts where there are large populations of poor minority voters, there would be more people in those neighborhoods, that are eligible to vote with the current system, but who would not bother getting their ID, compared to higher income enclaves, where people would be better informed about it, and who would take this minor bit of red tape as nothing, they would just go online or whatever and get that ID without thinking twice about it.

IF it's done through the DMV, I'm not very psyched about that. DMVs in California are having serious problems keeping up with the population as it is for their current functions.

Paper ballots and voter ID solves a bunch of this. You can't hack paper ballots that easily, and there will always be a written copy to double check voting tallies.

Voter ID would absolutely help. There is no rational argument against voter ID laws. None. Unfortunately reason has been thrown out the window in favor of tribalism.
