Do not understand this comment. Soviets were extremely unhappy about Americans landing on the Moon - they lost this part of space race. If Americans would have faked the landing as some crazy people suggest, Soviets would be all over that.

It's ironic that the Soviet State had multiple viciously competitive bureaus and never settled on one plan until 1963, then when Krushchev was removed they flipped it yet again. But the capitalist competitive country had a firm plan in place within months of being assigned the mission.

I never short anything. There is unlimited danger in shorting. If you own a stock and it goes to zero, fine, life goes on. If you borrow a stock and sell it (ie, short it), you can be bankrupted if that stock goes to the moon.

I suppose I could buy puts in the options market, and hope the price falls below the put strike price.
