Time for some more serious commentary: I think what has happened in the last 10 years is that US women have managed to transfer the responsibility for begin thin from being a requirement for both sexes to now being a doubly-strict requirement for men only. All the prattle about "we're supposed to be curvy" and "fat acceptance" applies only to women, whereas men are judged as harshly as ever.

In fact, it is even worse than that. There is clearly a high demand among women for the new specimen that we may call Rail-Thin Pretty Beard-Boys (RTPBB) , These specimen also have to have pretty faces, although camouflaged behind a dense but short beard, so that the prettiness cannot be observed directly as obviously being higher than that of the female in the couple. So now basically women have transferred all the pressure of evolutionary fitness to the male, while maniacally trying to get away from (and succeeding in) having any standards whatsoever applied to themselves. They are all clamoring for a few effeminate pretty-boys because they "know" that all that matters is having pretty daughters, and they are looking for the men to make up for their own shortcomings in the looks department, even with respect to their own female offspring.

At the same time, there has been endless propaganda articles in the pink press (there's another new phrase) about how the human male Y chromosome contains only "junk DNA". Which of course is complete drivel, since nearly all evolution (or devolution as the case may be) happens in the Y chromosome.

This of course all happens against a backdrop of "equality" and claiming, nay, demanding, to be "equal" to men.

I thought the goal was just not to look disgusting. Women with no curves look horrible with even 10 extra pounds. Round Curvy women are good as long at they don't have Rolls around their stomach or back. There are women that have a thin waist but wide ass. I think the sad part is, the Media have every women thinking if they put on a few pounds they get that. Except those other Girls their ass is big, it's not Fat. It's like having any other large body appendage or feature.
