Why is the current budget in large deficits? I've read 'automatic stabilizers" which makes sense to me. I'm sure the right thinks Obama has increased spending on some Kenyan communist project. What do conservatives say other than vague generalities about "runaway spending"? What would be consuming all that cash?

Also, the GOP accuses the Senate of not cooperating and passing a budget. What do Democrats say is the problem?

If a Bill originated in the House, doesn't the Senate offer its version for approval, then reconciliation? Couldn't they just off a "fuck you" alternative that won't reconcile?
