I wonder if Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez winning this primary is the start of a trend. That is, if one is a white Democrat, especially a male white Democrat, one's chance of being nominated and elected will be to much of an uphill battle. If so, it looks like all that identity politics may have come home to roost.

Sure, they may think they have a bigger tribe now they belong to, be it some white supremacy group or - much more likely - some SJW/progressive group of people who pretend to be friends but will rat you out and hang out to dry at the first sign of disobedience or internal chaos.
