Ah, you have opened my eyes with your brilliant and entirely self-consistent analysis of the GM bailout. It was good, except that it was bad. LOL.

Obviously you have difficulty analyzing complex problems. It seems the answer has to be right/wrong, or good/bad for you to understand.

In reality, most actions/decisions have some good aspects and some poor aspects. One hopes that the good outweighs the bad.

Understanding complexity is not inconsistent, it's just perhaps a higher level of understanding than you are capable.

houses are far “more expensive” today then from 2003-2007

http://research.stlouisfed.org/fred2/graph/?g=qcs

blue is mortgage rates, red is case shiller, 2005-1-1 = 100

So home prices are 10% under 2005 and interest rates are 25% lower*.

Furthermore, wages are 25% higher:

http://research.stlouisfed.org/fred2/graph/?g=qct

* actually in the 2005 period teaser-rates adjustable, interest-only and negative-am was being abused to substantially lower the effective interest rate of new mortgages so this is somewhat incorrect

Interesting (maybe useless facts): the total amount of gold ever produced is approximately the volume of a cube 82 feet on each side.
The total amount of platinum ever produced would fit into a cube approximately 20 feet on each side.

The value of gold produced in any one year is about what the US government spent to launch it's GPS satellites. The volume of all gold produced in any one year (worldwide) would be a cube approximately 14 feet on each side.

Cdon, about 70% of posters that were telling me how stupid is was to buy in 2011 have actually vanished from this forum (a strange way of admitting they were wrong)...or at least have taken on new screennames.

Since 2011 your downpayment alone would have netted you a nice chunk of money in the stock market. If you were smart then even more than the run up in your sugar shack.

What makes you think I don't have money in the stock market? LOL

But speaking of it - those gains would have been massively reduced by the high rent I would have to pay because my family needs a place to live.

I promise you it will make you look like an utter idiot, but you've already accomplished that quite nicely fuck face

Why are so angry? Something tells me you are not as well of as you claim to be. So you bought your house in the 90's - GOOD FOR YOU. So...whats the problem?

So all of these donation sites were all just coincidentally created for some other completely different purpose barely within a day or two before the event and then repurposed?? Really?

All these? A couple of people create facebook pages that nobody looks at and then decide to repurpose them to commemorate a terrible event. But of course, that to you is impossible. To you, it is far more likely that Sandy Hook was a hoax, that the family and friends of all those killed are lying about what happened (along with the literally thousands of other people directly involved). I think I should be the one saying 'REALLY?'

Good grief. What exactly were you thinking? That you would post up your ridiculous and offensive beliefs about Sandy Hook so you could peddle more of your 9/11 bollocks, or that it is strange that a couple of people changed their brand new unvisited facebook pages to commemorate a terrible event. But just a few days before? That is highly unlikely. Multiple people doing so? Come on Bigsby, you are fighting an unwinable battle on this one.

It's precisely because they were new sites that they could be changed. Barely anyone had visited them. They had less than 200 likes. The people who had created them decided to use them for another purpose. Exactly how many millions of people use facebook? And you think it is strange a couple of people repurposed their pages? How do I know that? You state as fact some of the most ridiculous nonsense peddled on the internet, and you ask me how I know that. Good grief. And you say that creating facebook pages 'is something not done regularly.' Err, on what planet do you exist?

Debyne asked how people can explain the facebook pages. I just did. Obviously you won't accept it because you would much rather run with your outlandish and offensive narrative than accept a far simpler and more obvious explanation. That is what you do. Constantly.

Like I said--you seem to have a very difficult time with complexity. I'll try it again for you--it's really pretty simple.

Preventing demand from falling is good.

Spending too much money to maintain demand is bad.

See how that works?

The bailout decision had good aspects and bad aspects. Pretending that it was 100% bad with no positives is just silly.

How could Lanza carry a shotgun, two rifles and 4 pistols. He was a wimp. Now the coroner says the wounds were caused by the long weapon. And Adam shot a green care from inside the building. But the car was facing the building yet bullets went in from different directions from the school window. The car was hit from the SIDE.

And there are exit holes in the green car. How did that happen? Was someone shooting from inside the car?

This is easily explained. Jews are good at business and theater/movie productions, but they are too dumb to know that when you fake a mass killing, you don't fake gunshots from inside a car.

Everyone knows this about Jews - physics is their only weakness. It's why the WTC towers fell faster than free fall.

I was thinking about this the other day: If any of you were active on some of the original housing bubble blogs circa 2003-2004 or so, if you were to read a thread like this you would see almost the exact same language and arguments being made. The fact that this blog and a few others seem to slowly be coming back to an increase in debates about actual real estate and not the plethora of endless liberal versus conservative diatribes shows that we have probably come full circle and the cycle is now starting all over again: There are the same arguments being made by the deniers and the believers. And so here we go again.

I recall an old saying back in the good ole' bubble days: If people are talking about a housing bubble, then the bubble started well before then.

Zionism has, according to the translator of the plan, Israel Shahak, the power over the US press. The goal is to weaken the US, and the housing bubble was crucial to that. The goal is to weaken the US, steal the wealth, and disarm the Americans.

The weaker Americans are, the stronger the neocons/Yinon Zionists are. Shahak's predictions of main stream media control over the conversation is true with 9/11, Sandy Hook, and with regime change in the middle east which we bought into in the Iraq War with no clue about the origin of the motive.

Yinon wanted regime change in Iraq back in the1980's, and the neocons adopted the plan and finally came to power with Bush/Cheney.

It is the banker/neocon/yinon zionist/mainstream media cabal at work.

Shit, I almost spilt my coffee on my laptop. Thanks for the laugh though. Damn, you are one crazy SOB.
Mind, I think you still need to expand on the role of Sandy Hook in all of this as it got rather lost in your laugh out loud mix of conspiracies.
