LOL. You guys crack me up. If you have a hornets nest in your back yard you call the exterminator and destroy it. You don't say "oh the poor hornets, look how mean we are to them. If we just let them be, they will leave us alone."
I'm sure glad Obama has more brains then you lot.

Yep, right away..
We are the exterminators.
I'm sure glad Obama has more brains then you lot.
Then why did he wait and let ISIS grow and expand over the last year instead of getting them early?
He is an idiot. That does not change the fact that he has more brains then you lot.

He is an idiot, and I know I have more brains, because I would NEVER take that job!
LOL Call Crazy, I know Mrs. Call Crazy would disagree. Does she know you only pretended to clean the pool this weekend?

That's the great thing about Iraq I, Iraq II, and Iraq III. Iraq is NOT our backyard. NIMBY does not apply! I would never fly to Jersey and swat a hornet's nest in CiC's yard, even if it stimulated my personal economy.

The middle east is our back yard? How does that work? Why aren't we swatting hornets nests all the places that don't have oil? GIve it up, the US military only exists to protect corporate profits.

19 hornets loaded with venom had no problem stinging us right in the ass 11 years ago.
The world is getting smaller with each passing day. We can see them in their own nest, and they can come sting us in the ass within hours.

Nice guy, I thought you'd help me. I was even going to sell you some water! I'd even send you some snow in the winter!
Water from your pool? The NSA told me your grand kids pee in there.

Yep 19 saudis. When are we going in?

They were young Islamists. We were not attacked by a country, we were attacked by a religion.

Going?
Going?
No,no,no going as in going in after the people who financed the 9/11 attackers and most of the terrorism in the last 30 years. The saudis.
They were young Islamists. We were not attacked by a country, we were attacked by a religion.
So why did we attack 2 countries over 9/11? You can't have it both ways dude.
You dodged my question (as expected). Why isn't the worlds policeman going anywhere that doesn't have oil? North Korea and Pakistan are bigger threats than isis. One of them is an ally. The only thing american is a policeman for these days is multinationals, especially oil.

I believe part of the motivation for this weeks bombings is to help people who can't help themselves. You know that's what we do...think Rwanda for example.
So why did we attack 2 countries over 9/11?
We attacked 1 country over 9/11.
True, we attacked one country for no good reason other than it had the 2nd largest oil reserves in the world.
you call the exterminator and destroy it.
You overestimate the American War Machine. Its goals are profits not "victories"
Good thing, as Grenada (!?) was our last decisive "Victory".

We bomb the militants in Pakistan all the time. We have troops in Korea, Japan, and Germany. No oil in any of the 4 countries. Why we don't go after N. Korea? We should. We should also knock out Iran's nukes, but we have too much opposition and not enough support.

Well, there you are. We should have overthrown Assad too, but everyone hates the policeman even if he is looking out for their own interest.

That's not why we attacked Iraq. At that time we were importing $10 billion worth of oil, while the cost of invading Iraq was expected to be $50 billion. No one in their right minds will spend $50 to steal $10. It's cheaper to just buy it.

It's a myth. Don't believe it.
Why we don't go after N. Korea?
We did once. It scared China. It got ugly.
If China thinks we would want to invade them, they are dumber then us.

Depends on who's paying the $50 vs. whose pocket the $10 goes in.
The deal with Iraq was that Saddam & Sons weren't going to let US or UK oil interests in the country once he got out of the sanctions box.
It was going to be French, Russian, Chinese etc. multinationals in our place.
Blair's being Bush's little poodle makes a little more sense now, yes?
If China thinks we would want to invade them, they are dumber then us.
Rearranging the geopolitical balance in China's backyard to our liking is no longer our call.
That was what 1950 was about (and 1965-75 for that matter).
Plus there's way too many people in the ROK way too close to the border to set off a shooting war there.
Not to mention people who join the US Army don't sign up for saving the world, actually.
So why did we attack 2 countries over 9/11?

Wrong again Bob...
I said a reason, not an excuse.

The war was supposed to be over in 2 weeks and cost very little. Even so the taxpayers pony up the 50 billion, the oil companies take the profit on 10 billion Not to mention the portion of the 50 billion that went to the war corporations. Why are you limiting the money to just what the US imports? What about the rest of the oil that would be sold once the US and British corporations took over production in Iraq?

You mean the oil companies would have to do real work to get paid. I don't see anything unfair in that. I don't like polluting oil companies, but let's be fair.

Maybe we can send that 7 year old Jihadi to Kim Jong-un with a Winnie the Pooh to do just that. I have full faith in that little Jihadi.

We have bankrupted ourselves in a war in Afghanistan (despite centuries of historical examples of other nations doing the same), are bogged down in an Iraqi quagmire and alienated most of the world with our response to 9/11. We are quite capable of making regrettable decisions.

I managed to swipe this from the memory hole before it was carted off to the incinerator:
"Iraq War will pay for itself" "Iraqi Reconstruction will pay for itself"

He's a great kid!
He should be on America's Got Talent or one of those shows.
I'll vote for him. Most crazy kids can only kill cats, this one can take off the head of a breathing human. Wow. Such skill, such dedication, such focus.
I give him a "10"

So you are saying a 50 billion dollar war paid by taxpayers, 4000 american dead, and god only knows how many iraq dead to open up Iraq to BP and Exxon is a good deal? Especially since Iraq is so unstable BP and Exxon are going to be totally run out in the next 6 months anyway and the entire iraq war will have been a total waste. Nice, good thinking.
The best thing obummer could do at this point is buddy up to iran and let them wipe isis off the map, which they are ready and able to do. Keeping them from continuing on into isreal might be tough though.
Iraq is going to end up right where it was for 400 years under the ottoman empire before the brits came in 1918. Shia region, Sunni region, Kurdish region.
Why oh why do my leaders insist on playing with fire?!?!?

Have we learned nothing from every damn conflict? If the justification is oil, I will pay $20/gal to get my money and my fellow Americans out of that godforsakenland.
