I don't see a lot of striking back going on. They'll have to wake up to the disaster their governments have enriched them with and take matters in their own hands to drive out the Saracens before they are driven out of their own countries.

Clash of cultures, plain and simple.
Forcing democracy onto bronze age cultures didn't work in the ME.
Forcing bronze age ME refugees to assimilate into modern democracies won't work either.
There needs to be an intermediate step to bring them up to speed first...10 yrs or so of 'training'...
