The FBI obtained secretly recorded conversations of a suspect in a public-corruption case discussing details of several alleged deals that the Clintons brokered, but they ran into resistance from Justice Department prosecutors who dismissed the claims as political gossip, according to a new Wall Street Journal report.
FBI investigators believed the audio was at least worth investigating and they grew increasingly frustrated as they ran into roadblocks erected by corruption prosecutors and even some FBI executives, sources told The Wall Street Journal. The prosecutors reportedly felt the case wasn’t worth bringing to a grand jury because the individual in the secret recording wasn’t working inside the Clinton Foundation.
FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and U.S. Attorney Robert Capers were both at the center of the internal dispute, per the report:
Amid the internal finger-pointing on the Clinton Foundation matter, some have blamed the FBI’s No. 2 official, deputy director Andrew McCabe, claiming he sought to stop agents from pursuing the case this summer. His defenders deny that, and say it was the Justice Department that kept pushing back on the investigation.
At times, people on both sides of the dispute thought Mr. Capers agreed with them. Defenders of Mr. Capers said he was straightforward and always told people he thought the case wasn’t strong.
The discord within the FBI apparently got so bad that a Justice Department official called up McCabe to report agents “disregarding or disobeying their instructions.â€
The Clinton Foundation reportedly came under FBI scrutiny after Peter Schweitzer published his book, “The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich.†The author was interviewed by the FBI.
Another bombshell Fox News report published Wednesday suggested that FBI agents are now “actively and aggressively pursuing†the Clinton Foundation case. Two separate sources told Fox News the case is now “very high priority.â€
“There is an avalanche of new information coming in every day,†one of the sources said.
Fox News’ Bret Baier reported on the air Wednesday that the sources believe an indictment connected to the case could be likely.

It turns out that Datto, Inc. is a data backup company which had real-time access to Hillary Clinton's private email server for the purpose of backing up her emails. That backup data set was turned over to the FBI in 2015, but the FBI likely did not realize what they were holding at the time.
It wasn't until the Clinton Foundation email scandal began to unfold that FBI agents realized what they possessed. Now, it turns out the FBI has been sorting through those emails (and other evidence) for more than a year.
In addition -- and this is a real shocker for those who have been following this -- the FBI did not destroy the laptops from Clinton's co-conspirators.

Now the FBI has at least FOUR sources of damning emails with overwhelming criminal evidence of Hillary Clinton's racketeering enterprise
What all this means now is that the FBI has four sources of emails that Hillary Clinton and her close associates attempted to destroy:
Source #1) Anthony Weiner's laptop, which somehow seems to have held 650,000 of Huma Abedin's emails, if reports are true, in addition to whatever child sexting pervert pics Weiner himself had collected (yeah, he's a democrat).
Source #2) The non-destroyed laptops of Cherryl Mills and Heather Samuelson, which the media incorrectly reported had been destroyed as part of the FBI's investigation "conclusion" earlier this year.
Source #3) The Datto, Inc. backup device which has already been turned over the FBI and likely contains all of Hillary Clinton's emails that she attempted to destroy (via Bleach Bit).
Source #4) Wikileaks dumps of John Podesta emails which keep getting posted in large batches like clockwork, day after day, revealing astonishing layers of corruption and collusion among dozens of key players conspiring with the Clintons.
From these four sources of emails, an undeniable pattern of criminal racketeering emerges
All this evidence isn't just going to incriminate Hillary Clinton, by the way: This vast conspiracy of criminal collusion, corruption, pay-to-pay bribery and racketeering will ensnare dozens -- if not hundreds -- of DNC operatives and Clinton Foundation cohorts. Freespeech needs to know that I think Clinton sucks, but that she is a diplomat, while Trump is a hateful racist hater. He is a dangerous guy. I started out interested in his candidacy. But I believe I know him, and the real Donald Trump has been misbehaving for years, and he is a very polluted individual.
So, thanks for the back up guys. I am not trying to make light of Clinton's potential failings, but I fear a Trump presidency. I fear his mental instability and I believe everyone should factor that and his hatred of groups into their decisions to vote.

Can't say I don't agree. Though I hardly call the calls for her prosecution the rightwing echo chamber.
At somepoint just wanting the right thing has to kick in from every American. Unless you expect this sort of things out of the Liberals you elect.

I have this guy I've known for about 30 years or more. Back when we we're young. He was the nicer looking guy than me, and girls would talk to him at bars. So he would get them drunk to the point that they blacked out.
Screw them anywhere ally, car, on the beach, it didn't matter. He was and stil is Married durring a couple times. He was trying to fake being butt hurt over Trump's "Locker Room" talk.
Something else he disclosed, he does a large volume work for large properties. He told me that he was one of the vendors in the question about him stiffing Margo Largo workers.
He admited that he used inferior work crews(Illegal aliens in most cases) they did a crappy job. And Trump wouldn't allow them back to correct the problem after they butchered it.
Then this same guy has told me in the past how he has thrown people off jobs in the same way in the past.
He's butt hurt over Trump on a personal level for crap he does to people as well.

Fox News Channel's Bret Baier reports the latest news about the Clinton Foundation investigation from two sources inside the FBI. He reveals five important new pieces of information in these two short clips:
1. The Clinton Foundation investigation is far more expansive than anybody has reported so far and has been going on for more than a year.
2. The laptops of Clinton aides Cherryl Mills and Heather Samuelson have not been destroyed, and agents are currently combing through them. The investigation has interviewed several people twice, and plans to interview some for a third time.
3. Agents have found emails believed to have originated on Hillary Clinton's secret server on Anthony Weiner's laptop. They say the emails are not duplicates and could potentially be classified in nature.
4. Sources within the FBI have told him that an indictment is "likely" in the case of pay-for-play at the Clinton Foundation, "barring some obstruction in some way" from the Justice Department.
5. FBI sources say with 99% accuracy that Hillary Clinton's server has been hacked by at least five foreign intelligence agencies, and that information had been taken from it.

BRET BAIER: Breaking news tonight -- two separate sources with intimate knowledge of the FBI investigations into the Clinton emails and the Clinton Foundation tell Fox the following:
The investigation looking into possible pay-for-play interaction between Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the Foundation has been going on for more than a year. Led by the white collar crime division, public corruption branch of the criminal investigative division of the FBI.
The Clinton Foundation investigation is a, quote, "very high priority." Agents have interviewed and reinterviewed multiple people about the Foundation case, and even before the WikiLeaks dumps, agents say they have collected a great deal of evidence. Pressed on that, one sources said, quote, "a lot of it," and "there is an avalanche of new information coming every day."
Some of it from WikiLeaks, some of it from new emails. The agents are actively and aggressively pursuing this case. They will be going back to interview the same people again, some for the third time.
As a result of the limited immunity deals to top aides, including Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson, the Justice Department had tentatively agreed that the FBI would destroy those laptops after a narrow review. We are told definitively that has not happened. Those devices are currently in the FBI field office here in Washington, D.C. and are being exploited.
The source points out that any immunity deal is null and void if any subject lied at any point in the investigation.
Meantime, the classified e-mail investigation is being run by the National Security division of the FBI. They are currently combing through former Democratic Congressman Anthony Wiener's laptop and have found e-mails that they believe came from Hillary Clinton's server that appear to be new, as in not duplicates.
Whether they contain classified material or not is not yet known. It will likely be known soon. All of this just as we move inside one week until election day.
