WTF is wrong with you? Everyone is equal in America. American peasants never had it so good.
Protest all you want, but resort to violence and your ass goes to jail.

Strat' , are you saying the "forgotten people" Trump base, outside of the Mao reference which is not their style, aren't actually lined up with HEY YOU here?

It's looking pretty peaked and run out to me. Has for awhile though. I'm sure we can stretch a little more gain on zero fundamentals and imbalance in the market. I sure as hell ain't going to play in those waters though.

Most people are not lined up with Hey You and Jazz.
We vote every 2 years. If you want to overthrow the government, go ahead and vote them out.
All this talk about the poor not getting their fair share is sheer nonsense. Most of the world would love to be on welfare in America.

America is probably one of the best countries to be rich in, but it is also one of the worst to be poor in.

Here are a couple links on poverty that establish a scholarly baseline for discussing poverty fact versus fiction. These links are reports that are not available on sites featuring news an opinion.

It says what we already know.......there are poor people in America. "No matter how much you swirl the water in a pail, some of it will always be in the bottom"

The public's vulnerability to propaganda and disinformation from those same wealthy interests is now a proven fact so the representatives have lost all fear of those they are entrusted to represent and no prison sentences or clawbacks occur to even the most brazen profiteers.

Sounds to me like it's you who has been the victim of propaganda.

jazz music says

The same corrupt corporations gained control over the range of choices to vote. Voting can only be redeemed with a steady commitment to social activism. Ultimately the representatives can be forced to represent as per charter, but it takes that commitment to force it.

Obviously most voters disagree with you. We have one of the best systems in the world. Those who don't like it, are welcome to leave.

That is not true. How is this welcoming manifested? Are there no penalties for expatriating?

How is it not patriotic to work against the vast forces that corrupt our system in favor of the idle few who enjoy passive gains, tax subsidies and extort other capital out of circulation and into their vaults?

Did you not know that most of the few who get into this category are there by inheriting in spite of their unproductive ways?

You have already stated you don't like our system, and voting does not work to change it. And then you call for revolution.
We are a democracy. The voter gets the final choice. Your only other option is the violent overthrow of our system, which you clearly seem to be advocating. Well, we like our system and want to keep it.
You are not being patriotic, you are being a rebel. Please go live somewhere else.

You haven't been paying attention, why? The links discuss the steadily increasing trend in the ranks of the poor. It speaks to the toll on the lives of children. It discusses decreasing life expectancy of America's poor, it talks about the link between violent crime and poverty in America. The next link talks about the ex-chairman of the Federal Reserve having set up policies that destabilize employment in America in order to depress wages and longevity in jobs.

It's the same nonsense I have been hearing since day 1.
I remember a communist college Professor of mine I used to argue with. He kept saying there are lots of starving people in America. LOL. All I ever saw were fat people on diet.

What in the world are you talking about?

I'm talking about our welfare system. Americans on welfare live far better than most of the world's middle class.
Have you seen pictures of starving African babies? Lets ask their mothers if they would like to be on welfare in America.
The trouble with some Americans is they don't appreciate what they have. They want more at someone else's expense. You have all the opportunities in America to make it, yet you don't take it and instead complain. Foreigners with nothing come here, and do very well. Why can't all Americans do well?

This tactic works but obviously only up to a certain point of intolerable conditions.

You have seen numerous examples in recent history of areas where enforcement has been so corrupt that people blatantly defy authority and resort to violence.

This condition reflects existence of extreme social injustice and abuse by authorities. 95% of those arrested never get to trial thanks to prosecutorial overreach.

None of these dynamics are unique in history. You can look all over the world and see that people will only tolerate so much before they riot. Don't be fooled by the racist point of view.

Today white people are surprised to find themselves being abused the exact same way that the minorities have been complaining about. This is a sign of our time when government has been allowed to serve itself a...

Jazz, we are all Americans. We all came from another part of the planet. We are all equal before the law. We all have equal opportunities. We all get to vote. We all get to sue if our rights are violated.

There are whole lists of countries assessed by many figures of merit and our country has consistently fallen from the top of those lists to far from the top.

ha ha ha. You still can't name a country that you believe is better than ours.

Revolutions are nearly always a terrible deal for the average citizen. Years or even decades of lawless behavior, various competing factions running roughshod over the locals, rapes and murders and hunger and poverty followed by a new government to oppress them more harshly than before.

How do you figure that America the biggest magnet for immigrants? Germany takes in twice as many immigrants going by population. So does Britain and France. Canada takes in 4 times as many.

How do you know that people don't come to America because they can't get into the places they really want to go to like Switzerland, Andorra, Chile, Australia, Japan, or New Zealand? Have you asked them all what their first choice was?

Hey Jazz, did you read the above?
If you leave America, a million would like to take your place. Go ahead, please leave this corrupt, rotten country called America. We are much better off with people who appreciate America, the world's greatest country.
Reminds me of a bumper sticker from my college days....."Everyone hates America, but no one wants to leave"

Oh! Americans can't really get PISSED.
THE CIVIL WAR was fake history & alternative facts.

Jazz & HEY YOU aren't the ones to be aligned with but those that aren't can continue to think non-critically.
It's the 140,000,000 that didn't vote that may suddenly get" sick & tired of being sick & tired" of all the two party bullshit.
They might make shit happen.

The decision will be made by the masses of lower middle class & poor when they have had enough of the entitled well to do. No one knows when.
