Fake news, here is the real story on fox

Phew, thank goodness. Don't worry Brietbart will cook something up too. I understand they have connections. Maybe that's why the WH is channeling it through Fox ? Too obvious if it comes through Brietbart.

83664   CBOEtrader   2017 May 15, 5:53pm

It sounds like the same story. One side is in hysterics, the other side saying dindu nuffin.

This is madness. Is sharing information about an ISIS terrorist plan confidential or not? Should be a simple yes/no answer.

83665   RC2006   2017 May 15, 5:53pm

We put up with Bushtard and Obummer for 16 years, we can deal with Trumps for 4-8 depending on what kind of crazy the dems push next.

83666   CBOEtrader   2017 May 15, 5:57pm

Can we just elect rand paul next time please?

I think Trump has shown he doesnt want to drain the swamp how he promised. Unfortunately I still cant think of many politicians I'd rather have in that office. Neocons are evil. The moderate left are just neocons w better PR. Socialism is the wrong path.

Rand Paul is the only option remaining.

83667   Rew   2017 May 15, 6:02pm

Love how the WH pulled the transcript of the meeting from internal wires immediately after the consults with NSA and CIA.

Every time I see junior engineers bragging or dishing secret product info in the office it all boils down to them wanting to seem important, be in the know, and be liked.

Remind you of anyone?

http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2017/05/trump-mcmaster-white-house-denies-washington-post-report-classified-russians

This goes straight to the point. "At no time were intelligence sources or methods discussed, and the president did not discuss any military operations that were not already publicly known." Mcmaster.

YET...

"The Post story did not ever say that "intelligence sources or methods" were discussed, but that Trump revealed tightly held secret information that was provided by a US partner, and that the revelation would likely allow Russian intelligence agents to determine intelligence sources and methods independently."

So, again, we have no credible source of information in the MSM... Do you see why Alex Jones gets so many listeners? Which spin do you believe?

It's confidential if you divulge confidential information. It's especially bad if you give it to opposing states who can unpack the information to likely "sources and means".

Trump should take over the press briefings to clear this up. ;)

83670   Rew   2017 May 15, 6:06pm

It's too negative, therefore it can't be objective. Great logic there !

With objective reporting, nothing is ever negative. For example if you're going to report a scientist predicting doom from global warming, it's not objective unless you can find another scientist that says it's nothing to worry about, and to the extent it is true, it has nothing to do with Co2 we pump in to the atmosphere.

Reality must always be reported in a balanced way such as this. Fox news, fair and balanced (â„¢) .

Muslim ban : No go. Trump's big mouth
Comey : Disaster! Trump's big mouth.

The precedent for Trump being a bloviating braggart is beyond well established. The precedent for him being a liar, and his surrogates lying willfully or out of ignorance is beyond concrete.

So it is believe the WH or the mainstream press ... who make their living off of telling the truth (as well as OP pieces.)

Your darn right I believe WaPo.

83677   Y   2017 May 15, 6:22pm

The elephant in the room is that Trump, as president, has the final say as to what is classified and what is not. Other than nuclear secrets the president at any time can announce classified information as declassifued.
The while fucking thing is yet another successful troll of the press by trump.

BlueSardine says

Heres a secret. Any non nuclear information trump reveals is by definition not classified.

Trump has the last word on what is classified and what is not.

Its impossible for trump to reveal non nuclear classified information.

This whole thread is based fake news...

The problem is that Trump is making an enormous judgement call... in an area where he doesnt have the best knowledge. Trump is one of those people who thinks he knows a lot more than he knows.

That makes him easy potentially easy to manipulate. So... its a problem.

On the one hand, the Precedent handed secrets to global power adversaries it will use to thwart US interests abroad.

More like Trump just did what he accused Comey of doing. Trump decided he would declassify ISIS info to help his new friends dodge a terrorist attack. His ego took over. In that moment he probably thought he was the most noble knight in all the land...

Ego is dangerous.

83682   Y   2017 May 15, 6:57pm

Irrelevant. Trump is the president. By definition it is impossible for him to divulge classified secrets that have nothing to do with our nuclear deterrent.

83685   marcus   2017 May 15, 7:19pm

Eject. I think he wants out as soon as possible anyway. If it can happen in a way where he can claim he was screwed over by the elite, all the better. Then he and Bannon go take over the right wing media world. It's much more fitting of Trumps personality. This being President is way too stressful. Too high stakes. Although I'm sure it has been fun getting this much attention.

Having a pack of sold out politicians and shills running the country wasn't going to end well either.Trump was fairly elected. Removing him will undermine the democratic process of our country. Beating the fucking dead Russian influence story to death is comical and will bring down the Democrat party.

When did Confederate statues become symbols of freedom?

These statues should be collected up, and put as artifacts in an appropriate space near the Whitney Plantation.
