Did he really get his ribs broken based on a dispute over yard waste? Apparently, his neighbor used to work with him, and they have been fighting over yard care / waste for many years. If he cannot compromise enough about yard waste to get along with his neighbor, what can we expect from him in the senate? I want to hear more from this story just out of curiosity.

I find the whole story pretty odd, and am expecting more to come out of it. Then again, I've never feuded with people like that. Honestly, I don't really have a gripe with Paul politically. He's been a thorn in Trump's and Republican's side at times. He's about as much help as Democrats could ask for from his district.
It’s kind of amazing how fast the media smeared Rand Paul (the victim) based on a biased account of someone who lives on his block (and a fuck ton of supposition). Other neighbors have come forward now and said that Rand is a great neighbor and friend and there’s never been an issue with his yard or lawn. What we do know is that his assailant (also a doctor) worked with him at various points, so perhaps there’s history there we don’t know about. Maybe it was political differences? The point is: the only person who knows why Frenchie assaulted and seriously injured a sitting US Senator is Frenchie himself.
All other talk is mere supposition and victim blaming.
