Trump is doing a good thing by pointing out the danger that false allegations pose to all men now that men are presumed guilty without trial.

We should thank Trump.

Yesterday, President Trump highlighted the problem of "guilty until proven innocent" in America. He stated, "It's a very scary time in America when you can be 'guilty' of something you may not be guilty of."

The comment resonated with millions of Americans, both Republican and Democrat. His statement has attracted extensive media coverage, as well. A Google search at 8am ET this morning on the words, "very scary time for young men in American" found over 250,000 "hits."

To our knowledge, this is the first time a sitting president has ever spoken out on the problem of false allegations and the presumption of innocence.

It's the exact same tactic.

I frankly enjoy that he likes beer. Seems like an honest dude in that situation. Not being sarcastic either. He told it like it was at that time and that he still likes beer now. He could have just made shit up and said he never drank knowing it was a false allegation.

Fact is, any justice over 70 is very likely heavily medicated on stuff that's not much worse then a random beer(s). I highly doubt he'll be drunk on the bench when he's eventually confirmed. They're all old farts for the most part and are all on some mild form of opioid to deal with some random health problem very likely (back pain, etc).

Beer is Tylenol compared to what a lot of people take for daily ailments. A couple beers is less harmful then popping 4-6 Tylenol a day most likely. Or any prescription drug for that matter. Fact is, him being selected has almost 99% chance of not influencing you (anyone here) for the rest of your life. Not sure why we get so worked up about this stuff.

Accusations against Clarence Thomas were made only ten years after the fact when both Thomas and Hill were married professionals, not teenagers 36 years earlier.

What I found most troubling was his partisan rant during the hearing and vowing revenge (what comes around goes around). Not to mention the multiple times he blatantly perjured himself and got into an elementary school back and forth with a senator. He's not fit for the bench, find someone else and let's move on...

Please let us know which judge is impartial? Each judges vote can almost be predicted, on almost every topic, every time. Let's not fool ourselves.

In my opinion he is not. I am not stating this due to any party affiliation, only based on principles and what a supreme court justice is bound to duty by the Constitution of the United States of America. For the record, both Kagan and Sotomayor would be out on their asses as well.

Principle over party. He keeps mentioning precedent. He would not be there to judge on precedent, so he's out on his ass.
