The problem with the Raw food movement was they got a Raw deal. The only place most people could find Raw food ingredients was at Wholefoods.
And the bigger the fad a food is at Wholefoods, the more money they want for it.
I once saw fermented raw cocoa nuts just ready to be dried roasted and ground. They were like $11 a pound. You'll get less than 5 ounces of processed chocolate out of that.

Natural birth is great when it works perfectly. But women used to die in childbirth on the regular before medicine got so good at ensuring the outcome. Also the babies died during the process with an unacceptably high rate. It’s why people had so many babies. High infant and mother mortality made this an imperative.

I’d say that the safest thing for your baby is to be born in a hospital. Ten times safer if the statistics can be believed.

Eh they reduce the healthcare costs dramatically. You should prob have a doula/midwive at your house, who can still decide and rush you to the hospital for a c section which is rarely necessary. Don't do it without any medical personnel though. I have no problems with that, as opposed to rampant pro-abortion indoctrination and its consequences which is a real issue.

Raw Food was a hoot. They were getting less nutrients from the veggies, because the cellulose and other things weren't broken down into bioavailable nutrients by steaming or otherwise cooking them. Haven't heard much of it lately.
