Apparently, some of the now superannuated wimmins do go hunting for the poor dolts who were obsessed with them in their youth. Unfortunately, post-baggage, post psycho menopause, criss-crossed by surgery scars, hyperactive, demented children, and a trail of bizarre ex's.
I have an older friend who had the women he lusted after from the day throw themselves at him and he ducked. He dated and screwed the relative young'uns.

Date 5-10 years below your age. If you are a decent guy, keep yourself presentable, are not a stubborn old coot, and are actually looking for companionship, it’s not problem meeting women a bit younger. In general women even a little younger are going to be better looking, in better shape, more active, and in general more fun to be with.
Not to mention that for whatever reason, they also seem to be super loyal which I find to be a really strong trait.
