Left wing non-governmental organizations and non-profits from the USA are working within Central America to ensure a continous flow of mestizo and indigenous to the USA.
I've heard the 20 second youtube quotes of Rush or whoever saying this.
How do you know?

You should listen to more than the 20 second youtube quotes. They are trying to enter illegally the USA with children because they know they have better chances of being able to remain in the USA with a pending asylum hearing.
Here is just one example: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/who-s-behind-migrant-caravan-drew-trump-s-ire-n862566
Yeah, funny the people who built a shitty ass country want the right to enter the USA, knowing the reverse generally will not be true.
Is this new though? Why are the crossings happening now? You mentioned groups recruiting and encouraging the central americans to caravan to our border. The 70 groups of 100 or more certainly suggests an impetus
Wall Street Journal: “More migrant families crossing into the U.S. illegally have been arrested in the first five months of the federal fiscal year than in any prior full year.” We are doing a great job at the border, but this is a National Emergency!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 7, 2019
d based on the numbers getting caught, how many illegal immigrants are getting through the porous USA border and not getting caught ?

Ive thought the same. Similarly, wtf type of metric is border arrests? So, if we fire ICE officers, and arrests go to zero, would the MSM pretend like illegal border crossings aren't happening?
Sometimes It's Good to revisit old tales.
A few interesting stats:
"In February alone, 36,174 families and 6,825 unaccompanied children were apprehended, according to agency data."
"Families and unaccompanied children make up more than 60% of apprehensions along the Southwest border. They're predominantly from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. Previously, mostly single males from Mexico crossed illegally into the US, and they were quickly returned to Mexico. Because most crossing now are family members from the Northern Triangle countries, the US does not have the infrastructure to accommodate the influx.
"There have been 70 groups totaling 100 or more individuals apprehended so far this fiscal year, compared with 13 in all of fiscal year 2018 and two in fiscal year 2017, according to CBP. "
