There's a general problem with too many men since we don't have wars anymore (which is of course a good thing) and there were anti-girl policies in non-western regions (e.g. China, Africa) leading to infanticide/abortion of girls and promotion of young men who are now bulging their way into the West. In addition the remaining girls became complacent and ugly, and/or got turned into careerist shrikes. The few remaining good-looking women have literally millions of options. But yeah, despite that female shortage the majority of feminist movements and self-defense classes tackling toxic masculinity in my region are comprised of people so ugly most wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. Sounds harsh but true. There's one reason though that may be valid for them to learn how to defend themselves. Human nature makes it easier for your conscience it you rob or attack an ugly person (unless it's sexual nature), so for non-sexual crimes such as robberies or altercations they may be targeted more than their pretty counterparts.

I have a friend who, when in her late twenties, would go over to PA to shoot machine guns with her boyfriend. After they broke up...she started dating a hyper liberal socialist and was busy going to anti gun rallies after to the Parkland shooting. I have a friend who set up a protest against a planned hotel near where he walks in Santa Cruz. He made up banners and placards and took them to the site, and advertised the protest in a local paper/daily. He did it mostly as a joke, but when he saw the people showing up from a distance, he left himself because he said he was afraid of them.

Protest-o-philia is such a common mental disease in places like Santa Cruz, you can get people to show up to protest ANYTHING. The doddering middle class hippies and trust fund fucks eat it up.
