Yeah seriously.

The president of the united states "could" exert influence on law enforcement. Sure could. But did he?

Not according to Muellar.

Who the fuck cares. The god damn horse is dead. Keep beating it all you want, it's not any more deader.

I'm sure there's a way, but it sure as shit looks like no legal action can or will be taken. At what point do people move on with their lives over one person? Jesus.

If they don't have lives, they don't move on. Someone made the point that conservatives have lives, people on the left don't, politics is their life.

I don't think that is true. Attempting and failing to commit a crime, is still a crime.

Fact free statement as it compares to trump.

Knowing what you know about trump, do you think his subordinates control him? Lolz.

As per the report, entire Team Trump was transparent and easy to work with. Trump never used his executive privilege. There is also no underlying crime.

Whatever conversations Trump had to understand the scope of his personal options is irrelevant. The mueller report "legal theories" on obstruction were rejected by barr.

None of this is surprising if you've paid attanetion to this situation.

As they were rejected by Rosenstein and many other legal experts. Mueller’s conjectures on how a few Trump tweets could be construed as obstruction of an investigation (into a non-crime) are amateurish reaching for something to justify his investigation. When the prosecutor comes up with nothing after this long, he’s embarrassed.

the report's clear outcome on "no collusion"

Agree if Trump wasn't Pres. he would be indicted and likely convicted on obstruction. He really is a clumsy oaf. The fact that his underlings didn't follow his directions does not clear him of an obstruction charge.

But please use the correct words, Mueller found no conspiracy or coordination with the Russian Government. Collusion is not a legal term, there is no crime of collusion. So no crime of conspiracy and that is good news for Trump But It is quite clear there were many many many well documented contacts with the Russians and their surrogates, but that is not illegal.

Which leads to the most important conclusion, reaffirmed by Mueller but denied by many on this site: Russia intervened in the 2016 election to hurt Clinton and help Trump, and did so in a systematic manner. Trump's people welcomed this and one can make a strong case they still do. Very little has been done other than increase public awareness to stop this in 2020. Why? Did this change the outcome of the election? No one can know this and I think it totally irrelevant and a distraction. Trump won.

102221   marcus   2019 Apr 19, 9:27am

IF you guys would drop your lies and bs for even one minute you would realize that the democrat's position is one you can't really dispute.

That is that the Trump campaigns contact with the Russians was dishonest, immoral and unethical. That is they are accepting the conclusion of no evidence that Trump himself committed a crime (other than possibly obstruction - which the Mueller report left in more of a grey area).

Democrats are completely accepting the Mueller report, it's you guys that are in denial and SPIN MODE.

Nowhere in Mueller report is this suggested. You are making up fantasies.

However, Team HRC had MANY illicit contacts w the Russians and Ukrainians which is now indeed under investigation of actual real crimes, not made up fake CNN crimes.

Trump is actually doing a fantastic job, objectively speaking.

Sure, his personality is out there, but his accomplishments just keep piling up, though you'd never know it from the mainstream media.

He has been treated far worse than Obama ever was. By miles.

I believe Russia intervened in the election to sow chaos like we are seeing now. Putin and Russia probably can't believe how successful they have been at dividing our country. It is amazing Trump has gotten anything accomplished domestically or internationally in the last 2 years. The amount of bullshit with this fake scandal and investigation would have paralyzed most other presidents.

Trump campaigned on a strong military, pulling out of the Iran Deal, securing our borders and greatly expanding America's energy production. In what universe are we to believe Putin would prefer Trump and the big oil/big military Republicans as opposed to Clinton and the Democrats who have campaigned on basically de-industrializing America and giving Russia and OPEC majority control over the world's energy supplies?

Sounds like Dems are pretty butthurt and are trying to make lemonade out of Mueller's lemon, albeit not successfully and as a result they just keep digging and digging and losing already minuscule credibility they have.

I listened to Ben Shapiro yesterday and he was pretty accurate: we all know Trump lies, he is honest about being dishonest, but one place he did not lie or did not do anything illegal was this Russian collusion.

The inverse of Obama. Vox, MSNBC, WaPo leapt to "Explain" every misstep and anti-American action of Obama, while it claims every pro-American deed of Trump is evil and rotten.

Just came across an example of the Obama Era, from an article about Brian Lamb retiring:

The network did once clash with the Obama administration, in what Mr. Lamb describes as “one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen.” During a taped 2010 interview, Mr. Lamb asked President Obama about redecorating the Oval Office. “Given that we are in the midst of some very difficult economic times,” Mr. Obama replied, “we decided to hold off last year in terms of making some changes.”

Weeks later, the White House unveiled fresh decor, including an Oval Office rug printed with quotations chosen specifically by Mr. Obama.
This contradiction posed a small PR problem for the president. When C-Span immediately aired its unedited tape, the White House press shop was displeased.

“Out of that,” Mr. Lamb says, “came an attitude toward us, from Josh Earnest, that I still, to this day, do not understand.” From then on, C-Span received no cooperation from the Obama White House. “As a matter of fact, the next Christmas party, they made sure we had less tickets,” he says. “In their little world that they lived in down there, it was a way to retaliate.”

Obama was far worse about retaliating against bad press than Trump has been. And with Far Far Far FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR less reason! Obama got press that was 90% positive, except for Fox News. Trump has gotten press that is 90% negative, except for Breitbart.

“Morality” is subjective to policy wonks and the vagaries of the opposition. There’s a reason we have the Code of Hamurabi. A written set of laws gives a guide to what is and is not permissible, quite apart from what “moral people” will decide after the fact is or is not moral.

Trump did not break any laws. Therefore he is still our President.
Get used to it.
