For Fuck's Sake...

OK, airhead, please produce the "emolument's clause" of the Constitution and copy it verbatim.

I am asking you to do this so you have some level of understanding of the level of propaganda you live in. I would bet $1,000 I won't get a response.

From the Constitution:
"No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State."

emolument
n. Payment for an office or employment; compensation.
n. The profit arising from office or employment; that which is received as a compensation for services, or which is annexed to the possession of office, as salary, fees, and perquisites.
n. Profit; advantage; gain in general; that which promotes the good of any person or thing.

Sounds like something Hillary has done.

You just wrote it. How is Trump violating the clause? Be specific.

Trump is not violating the clause, but Clinton, Obama, and Pelosi have.

The national debt has grown, on average, doubling every 8 years, regardless of who has been prezdident since 1971 after the Nixon shock. People whine and moan that the national debt has doubled under Obozo for example, but it did the same under Duh. It only exposes how naive people are who whine about this. They've never looked up a logarithmic chart of the national debt, and they have selective memory about it.

I am reluctant to call people stupid, but they can be both naive and intentionally deceptive.

I know what let's do. If we want to have a chance of keeping the disaster of a Precedent that Trump is, let's try to blame it all on the "Libruls" as if it was all a result of a grand left wing conspiracy.

Because we all know that ending mandatory hospitalization, gender bending, furries, and abortion were all conservative ideas.

In reality, the old Rockefeller Republicans were too bowtied and polite to smash degeneracy.

But the Dems are really good at spinning:

Climate change is a hoax, at least as liberals understand it.

Disagree? I have a computer 30 inches away from me that has more processing power than a Cray super computer of 1990. Give me a model. As we all, should, know the basis of a science is a model which doesn't only match past observations but predicts what is possible which can be confirmed by experiment or observation.

Show us all the model. Let us test the model against observation.

You may be thinking we dump tons of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, and this is bad. It probably is, but it's not as bad as you are told, nowhere near as you believe.

As I've said on this forum years ago, we simply agreed to wear seatbelts. We weren't going to quibble in endless arguments about exactly how risky it is to not wear a seat belts.

Insurance companies lobbied state government to get the police to enforce seat belts so they could payout less; and localities and states got revenue for harassing drivers.

Wall Street wants carbon trading to create a mandatory market with huge middleman fees.

Even worse for car seats. In CA they lobbied like a 6-10 year or so shelf life (can't remember exact number), even if never used. After that you are free to be harassed to buy a new one. But then again you get harassed for producing too much junk. All BS.

The world has changed, in some ways that many of us find troubling.

MOST of us find troubling.

The most disturbing part is where two different groups see the same facts but different "truths". Also disturbing is the personal attack as the goto tactic in a "debate".

The fact and the "truths".

In polite society (that non virtual world we live in) I don't bring up politics because you just can't win. When somebody talks about how global warming has made them feel so much hotter than they used to despite facts. Or how our presidents attempt to root out AMERICAN corruption in Ukraine is an impeachable offense but it's OK if other politicians blatantly use their influence to amass great wealth at the expense of the American people.

I don't have to know exactly (or predict exactly) how bad it is to keep spewing carbon in to the atmosphere, to know that moving away from burning fossil fuels is a good and actually very conservative risk adverse idea.

@Marcus,
Issue is not IF we should get off fossil fuels, issue is HOW. So-called environmentalists who are in reality fucking uneducated idiots propose solutions which will catapult us back into 19th century life quality. Rational discourse is shut down largely due to screeching of the collective Left - and now the collective right is reciprocating in kind.
3024   Bd6r   2019 Oct 21, 12:12am

marcus says
:

Then why are so many politicians paid t5o say that we don't need to get off of fossil fuels ?

And why aren't we further in to development of 3rd and 4th generation nuclear reactors ?

I mean what the hell man ! Electric cars are here ! NOW !

I have no idea, but a rational explanation is that environmentalists have scared people off from nuclear so that any politician who supports it will not be elected. Competition with oil (as if need less oil if use nuclear) will not be helpful either to achieve more donations.

This is a victimhood claim from an establishment who actually holds the majority of power.

Same as white male victimhood.

As usual - 1. please let me know if white males are accepted into professional schools with much higher scores than certain minorities or not, and is that racism/discrimination or not. 2. I would like to see what realistic solutions do your saints such as AOC offer with respect to fossil fuel replacement. The solutions proposed should not involve ones that decrease life quality of 99% or involve taxing everyone at 90%.

1. If different admission standards according to race is not discrimination, then I really have nothing to say. Next is race-segregated schools, if we go down that slippery slope, and we end up in Alabama 1950. I guess progressives=KKK.
2. ??? I have 0 posts here about impeachment trials.

Exactly. Yes CA produces the most food by VALUE. Although they will likely fuck that up with their water usage in the future beyond what's already happened. Next is Iowa and Nebraska. Those states barely have any people, but produce a ton for this country. They need 2 senators. They don't barely have any electoral votes either. Stop picking on the minority states Marcus.
