You also understand the taxes are going to shed light on absolutely nothing? He'd be in jail if he evaded tax law. Outside of that, you're going to understand very little about his wealth and income. The perks of getting large sums of money via large loans, is you get to use that money for business purposes in furtherance of the project it was loaned for. Hell you don't even have to do that depending on the loan agreement. Mind you this is ALL tax free money. You could do the same tomorrow and you would if you have the business sense. Instead people just complain that he's the pussy grabber in chief and are jealous of someone with more money. It's the American way in 2019 I guess.

That, along with all the people donating used clothing and other trash to Goodwill type charities for an overvalued deduction, is the reason charitable deductions should not be allowed.

A more honest policy would be to examine the finances of politicians who have made serious money only after having been elected. And not just tax returns, since career politicians plan there tax strategy as to make the tax returns innocuous, so they can volunteer public viewing.
